Great things about Nakuru; So many Gorgeous women.❤😍😜 Its cosmopolitan, all races, tribes, east Africans like south sudanese,Ugandans,Rwandans,Burundians are here. Even when Aliens finally come to Earth I believe some will settle in Nakuru. Nakuru is home to Everybody. Excellent entertainment spots and Shopping malls. So many classy, beautiful amazing rental apartments, villas and BnBs.!! Lake nakuru national park. Cost of living (housing ,food, entertainment etc)is relatively cheap. Ease of doing and starting a business venture. Cool and wet weather is awesome. Its proximity to nairobi favours it unlike other cities. Pesa kutoka Nairobi freely circulates here in nakuru with wanton abandon esp during weekends and holidays. Anything you need in nairobi youll find in nakuru eg gadjets, clothes etc. Bad things about Nakuru. General infrastructure is Nakuru is pretty Average, poor city planning, their markets are dirty, crowded, disorganized. Crowded, dirty, confusing public transport system CBD roads are old, worn out and full of potholes. If you see any good infrastructure in nakuru its courtesy of the private sector/ investors. Dust dust dust too much dust in Nakuru it disgusts me!! Inner low middle income estates have been ignored by the county govt. They have no facilities, no infrastructure, no tarmacked roads and inadequate security lights consequentially businesses within the Estates are doing pretty bad. The general environment is inadequate; but in contrast, posh estates roads are fully tarmacked, adequate security lights.Theres alot of classism in nakuru and corruption within the county govt. During the hot months its hell in nakuru, back to the topic of dust!! Nakuru needs to revive its factories to maintain its unique status as the industrial city of kenya. Otherwise its on a serious decline and it will become another cheap version of Nairobi.

In fact I find that the number of nicer, newer and better buildings in this city's CBD is more than even it's lakeside counterpart Kisumu, though Kisumu's CBD is larger, cleaner, well spruced and more spread out. Uptown Kisumu looks great but downtown consist of old, low rise structures. Nakuru's beauty is compact and in a continuous flow.
