Because of Lamar's lack of playoff success. He has 2 playoff wins in 6 seasons. Burrow (5-2) and Allen (5-5) have 5. If Lamar beats Pat, and he goes on to the superbowl, win or lose, he'd leapfrog Allen and Burrow for QB2 of the NFL. Only Mahomes has a surefire place as QB1, everyone else (including Hurts and I hate to say it, even Dak) are closer in rankings than one might think

Right now Lamar is second to Mahomes. No questions. Lamar also plays in a much tougher division than Mahomes. Hands down. The raiders are bad, the Broncos are bad, and Chargers are bad. The chiefs have better cornerbacks, a healthier secondary, and Chris Jones is the best defensive player on either team. The ravens just have better linebackers and Kyle Hamilton, who’s playing hurt. Mahomes has the better tight end, better running back, better number one receiver, and better offensive line. He also has Andy Reid calling plays. The chiefs are the healthier more talented roster. I mean Steve Nash won 2 MVPs but he was barely considered a top 5 player. Shaq and Kobe won only 1 MVP but there were multiple seasons where they were considered the best player in the world. MVP doesn’t mean you’re the best player. You had the best season, your team is extremely well etc, but more likely than not MVP is won by a player who isn’t considered the best player

Thats litterally an avg QBs whole career. Pat can space his out and never go back to back and still catch Brady because of that 10 year gap. Dynasties don't have any bearing on the GOAT debate tbh. If you win 9 SBs but you never won back to back who cares about the dynasty your still the undisputed GOAT lol. And losing to Brady matters but not enough to keep him out if he matches rings.
