Thank you this helps a lot I got diagnosed with mild scoliosis in late 2019 and did nothing to help with it so far but at least I somehow managed to ignore the pain from it even when the pain gets bad I somehow managed to get over the pain without any pain killers

I got diagnosed with ~30° left side lumbar scoliosis a month ago and now I'm wearing a WCR brace, I'm a 17 year old male if that matters. Is this type of bracing good for reducing the curve? I was told I'll have to change the brace every few months

bracing was very effective for me during the growing phases of my life. im not sure which type of brace i had though. i wore my brace 22 hours a day for two years. i saw not only no worsening of my curve but actually my curve lessened.

I turned 17 in January, and my lower backs curve is 28 degrees left, how has yours been so far in the years? I hope it's been well for you and you're not in any pain.

I’m 26, male, my curve is about 21°. I last got checked last year when I was 25. Before that, I was 12. I don’t think the curve has progressed much at all since then. Nothing has been done since then because my parents couldn’t afford any treatment. I work out regularly as a way to treat it, but I’m not sure what I can do right now to mitigate the curve getting worse and avoiding surgery later in life. I May see a chiropractor, but that’s all I know. Any suggestions? Thanks!

with a curvature of only 21 you have not to worry but depends, it’s your scoliosis thoracic or lumbar?

Hello.Im 31 years old.I have double major scoliosis since 15 years old.My degrees it's 66 degrees up and 55 degrees lower back.My doctors offer me operation 😑 But I'm not sure how will survive just cos I'm not so young anymore. What is your suggestions?To do it for my better future or just living like that? Regards Denise

I have two rods in my back because of scoliosis. Is it possible for my scoliosis to get worse? I got them when I was nine and now I am 32.

I also have had spinal fusion. It is definitely possible for scoliosis even after surgery to get worse later in life but it really depends on what caused it in the first place.. spina bifida, environment factors, or other defects.
