You should do research on the difference of setting spray vs. fixing spray!! I recently found out that a lot of beauty gurus get them mixed up. Setting sprays do not prolong the wear of your makeup- they just mesh the makeup layers into one. That’s literally it. Fixing sprays are the sprays that make your makeup last all day. For example, UD all nighter is a fixing spray, but companies don’t label them correctly bc they don’t care. Regardless, it makes your makeup last all day. Basically what I’m saying is, maybe try using MAC fix plus to actually set your makeup. Then use whatever “setting spray” you’re using i.e. UD all nighter (labeled as setting, but is a fixing spray)

Megan Buckle it’s the other way around. Setting is for SETTING your make-up (making sure it’s SET), fixing is for fixing your make-up (meshing the layers into one)

Thanks for the close ups, they were really helpful. I think, in terms of the smile lines, you are more expressive on the left side of your mouth. I don't know if you've ever noticed, when you speak, your mouth naturally curves up more to the left, so more creasing makes sense there, but there was definitely a difference on the cheeks and nose. Your video was really informative and I appreciate the zoom in

For another video can I suggest you do one side of your face the All-Nighter spray and then the other side the Nyx Matte Setting Spray? I'm late to this party but I have to say this. Your close ups are amazing. I know this is not the prettiest thing we want to show, but I was always ready to cry because i felt like my foundation didn't hold or it looked bad after 8h at work etc. I suppose I got it from all those super glam make up photos from IG, where it's all flawless and stuff. Seeing this makes me feel like maybe it's not my skin's fault or my skill, but that in general make up will do it. Thanks for that!
