UPDATES: (2/13/24) - Update video is out with me talking about the most recent changes as of this date: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4fEn5JmbLiYoKc 4:12 - Chiori no longer snapshots DEF, making it consistent with the other stats. 6:54 - C2 and C4 were swapped. 10:03 - Signature weapon buffed, removed on-field/off-field conditions.

The fact that dendro even got a slot into the standard banner through Tighnari but there is still no geo character in it astonishes me. Pyro has two, TWO 😭

Since Itto and Gorou are always locked together, I think Chioris kit was made mostly for mono Geo teams so that Itto keeps up with the meta. Itto deserves tho

yea if the current version continues, Itto will receive the biggest buff from Chiori

I think Geo could easily be saved with 1 simple tweak. Make it so Geo shields/ Crystallize shields are counted as constructs. That way the reaction is actually useful, It stops the massive split that Geo units have going on.

Interesting idea, would also make sense with our current Geo resonance. And also this would allow them to commit more into constructs since the shields are easier to obtain.

or stop geo construct from despawning 90% of the time it wasn't a problem with ruin graders why is it suddenly a problem with every other supergiant enemy specially the stupid robot chicken you can't even damage it with ninnguang since the despawnzone is bigger than the gate dmg zone lol

Or make them defense scaling and make Geo characters have more access to crystalize magnetism.

Yknow what… i just realized that chiori can swap into another character using her skill… So then why, why in the world, was this not done for goddamn lyney and lynette?? Like are you joking?? They had this developed but then made the twins have ANTI synergy???

@@anddad Same here. Was interested in pulling her for Navia, but I can only justify it if they take out the geo construct restriction. And in terms of design, I prefer Clorinde and Arlecchino, so at least hoyo made the choice easy for me. Maybe I'll pick her up in a rerun.

In my account she’d be the most helpful at c1 (bc I pulled Navia) but I think that maybe at c0 she’d also be sorta good with Navia, just not as good. The only thing I’m not sure about is if I can pull for her c1, my last 2 5*s were Furina and Navia (which r incredible) so I’ll probably lose the 50/50. Hope that I can get c1, good luck to everyone pulling in 4.4 and 4.5 ❤❤❤

Albedo will absolutely get a 5-star weapon to boost his damage output and probably EM too to make him more viable in roles with other elements 📺

I'm getting Chiori's weapon for Albedo and giving her Mistsplitter I think. Atk% Def% Crit, golden troupe and Furina for dmg%

You forgot to mention Noelle, Chiori, Albedo, Gorou as team. It is likely Noelle's second strongest team outside Furina.

So she's an upgrade to mono-geo against bosses? I heard some people say that albedo is still better when fighting against mobs because her AoE sucks

I would say Chiori is an upgrade pretty much everywhere versus Albedo. Albedo's "AoE" is pretty nonexistent. And personally, I find that AoE attacks/damage isn't that important considering the more single-target nature of the abyss. Chiori just does more damage; on top of that, her damage and energy generation are way more consistent since you don't have to worry about a construct being destroyed.

Can I take it from the hutao? Hu Tao, Yelan, Jun Li, Chiori. Since Hu Tao played with albedo and here Chiori is better than albedo

Yep that works, the old Double-Geo core with Hu Tao but just upgraded with Chiori.

No, LOL. Hoyo is only making new geo characters - Navia and Chiori - as good as possible in current system, while in this system geo is garbage. Geo is almost never needed or favourable. Geo constructs are awful. And Chiori's kit is tied to them 💀 It's just missed opportunity to give us something like geo-Nilou, finally adding something great to geo. Plus improved Archaic Petra. Well... No money for Hoyo until they will start seriously fixing this game 😎

Geo constructs are awful because of how buggy they are, and having synergy with then is great design but I hope this also means we get geo construct FIXES and buffs too

Maybe you're new, but you can check history and see that Hoyo is not doing anything with some issues since the start, for more than three years. Only serious cut on revenue can lead to a change, so boycott Hoyo with us.

But this were an exception, this whole boycott will not work at all and trying to make it seem like it has an actual impact just gives false hope . And there doesn't need to be a whole boycott to be change ,look at the recent Qol changes are an example . Even the unique dashes of Mona and Ayaka are example ,people complained about them but they didn't do a whole boycott. Also damn Sat agreed with you and you still somehow missed it .

Geo healer es definitivamente una opcion nueva que dejaria Furina ser buena en equipos con geo. E ala mejor es quien sigue en linea. En el caso de Chiori, pienso que "sub-dps" siendo es mejor en linea base porque no todos tienen a Furina. -I don't speak Spanish, this was written with help from a friend 👍

Easiest skip. Female DPS locked to constellations with infusion. Too bad. C1 necessary to function with Navia, as well. Damn. RIP but it is what it is. Thankfully this allows me to go all in for Arlecchino.

Chiori has to work with Geo Constructs. Geo Constructs have the clunkiest mechanics in the game. They get destroyed so easily. Spending on Chiori is like buying a sh*tty product. Geo is also a badly designed element. Chiori isn’t going to save a dead element. Navia saved herself from Geo by avoiding Geo. Navia is great not because of her element, bit because her kit is great. Chiori will probably have very low sales. Chiori is said to powercreep Albedo. and that is such a sad thing for a new Geo character.
