I’ve got a coated car and I’ve tested the pressure washer rinse only vs the snow foam pre wash (snow foam from the same company as the coating) and the difference is clear. The snow foam removes far more, almost all of the dirt actually, than just the high pressure rinse. I’ve watched, as many others probably have also, plenty of videos of Bilt Hamber Touch less and Auto Foam and the presented results seem to be very consistent. Thanks for the vid.

Thanks John. I've not tried Bilt Hamber Touchless yet but it is definitely the next on my list.

Having a dark metallic car, and having swirls in paintwork, I have tried most brands of foam. Bilt Hamber is the best by a country mile.

It's not as thick as other snow foams but it does a great job. Bilt Hamber touchless is the next on my list to try.

An even cheaper alternative is to use an ik sprayer. But maybe I'm wrong as i can't do snow foam. What about a comparison between BH AF through a foam cannon and through a sprayer. Cheers
@bigtedshome9 ай бұрын
That's a good suggestion. I expect that it would take longer to apply the detergent but would probably use less product.

👍👍👍. Interesting. I've been wondering if I should use a snow foam or not🤔. I think I'll give it a try. Thanks Big Ted

It works well and it's fun to use. A Win:Win situation 🙂

I just upgraded my mjjc from version 2 to version 3, arrived yesterday. The version 2 started to leak which I was gonna fix with some ptfe tape. Anyway my car is filthy too as not been cleaned all winter, too cold. I will have to try the bilt cleaner some time, but I've still got a large container of the Autoglym snow. Did you ever get a lance for your stubby Ted?
@bigtedshome9 ай бұрын
Yes, I did get a lance extension for the stubby gun. Thanks for the tip. It's great for cleaning the wheel arches and the sills. The mjjc v3 is great but I would still try to fix the v2 if you can. It's easier if you can use one for the snow foam and one for the shampoo.

You cant be serious? you didnt even soak the middle section in plain water or detergent for proper comparison. what a waste of time.
@mickylindle9 ай бұрын
As a pre-wash, yes, it is a waste of time and product. Simply pre-rinse then wash
@DjNikGnashers9 ай бұрын
Pre rinse and wash ? Do you mean blast it with water then go straight on with a contact wash using a mitt/sponge and shampoo ? The channel owner clearly showed water does not remove any of the dirt, so going straight on with a contact wash means you are rubbing all of that dirt on the clearcoat, causing swirls and scratches. Your car must look like an artex ceiling.

Artex ceiling 😂

BS!! I have a car with practically perfect paint!! All I do is spray it off before washing wax it and polish it every six months to a year! Rinsing off a car is all it’s ever needed!! Most people did that with show cars in the 90s and early 2000’s!!

So... hamber it is then 😁 which if you think a 5L hamber is under 20 quid and say 100ml per wash gives you 50 washs, which therfore is 40p per wash!!!... that should appeal to every " fiscally aware Yorkshire man" I know 😂
