After seeing RIPs starting strength I realised my shoulders were not flexible enough and after working on my shoulder flexibility my squat technique improved greatly. RIP gives very detailed aspects of this in his videos.

I experienced it just a month ago. It was a hell of a pain. Literally morning to night of headache. I just needed a week's rest at the gym. Make sure you have a really good massage to stretch that vein on your back going to the neck. after 2 or 3 days I am slowly able to run at least 30mins for 3 straight days and just like that like nothing happened. Back on track baby! Lightweeight!

Thanks I messed up today by either putting too much weight I thought I was ready for but wasn’t or basically putting on the bone in my neck and damn near passed out and was lightheaded for a while… currently have a headache because of it too!

@alexdoll42582 жыл бұрын
Turns out I don't have too much muscle in that area of the back. What back exercises do you guys recommend to develop muscle there? In back day the muscles that usually get sore are the lats. Also I am overweight (trying to lose fat while gaining muscle at the moment) so pullups aren't really possible for me...
@misd86022 жыл бұрын
If you are overweight u likely have enough mass there for the bar to rest on! Try positioning the bar differently a bit higher/lower.

@mayhulk75142 жыл бұрын
@@PGproductionsHD Well work on traps but use the pad. People shouldn't be so worried on your exercise routine. I use the pad for my thin back and my legs will be sore the next day. It doesn't affect your routine. The only thing that the pad messes you up on is your reputation, not your reps. I actually can lift heavier with the pad on, because when I go heavy pad of if feels like it is ripping my traps
