I have the 2017 “S” model. I’m not a big dude, so this bike fits me like a glove. Lol. So yes, from what this videos talks about and the feed back I get when other bigger guys sit on my bike, this video is dead on. Here’s something to consider for bigger dudes: why I recommend this although you may modify the foot controls? Coz it’s an amazing bike on the road. It literally feels like a hot-rod bike when bone stock, and you just build from there.

Picked up my 21 model in January without riding one, Something I've never done before. I'm only 5 8# and it fits me pretty well. I like the standard peg and bar position for hanging off and riding fast but for cruising I find it uncomfortable on longer rides. All in all a fucking great bike and the brakes and suspension are top notch for a Harley.

Glad to see the bike is back and looking good! I had to do the same when ordering mine, the dealer had 3 in store but all brand new and no demo to try. So I took a leap and just went for it. For me the mids and lower bars felt comfortable as I'm about 5' 10 on a good day, and I'm just getting back into riding so the stock position feels pretty natural and not too extreme.
@fxlrsnz83643 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro. If i wasn't such a big guy the mids would be sweet and definitely better handling when it comes to stability etc. After all you dont see MX boys with forwards haha that be fukn strange.. you have a great bike for getting back into it they handle great on stock set up but i would still upgrade suspension if you are going to get a bit quicker especially in the corners. Front stock suspension is ok for now rear shock is average imo. 🤘

@@fxlrsnz8364 I'll have a look around KZbin, can almost guarantee someone has added forwards to a mx bike ! Hey mate nice buy 👌🏻. Yes 100% the Snorkel hit your shin and it sucks especially if you still have the stock brake lever. Tbh it still sucks even with the brake pedal upgrade 😅 I returned mine to the shop because the one i have is the only filter available where you clear the leg completely. Mine is the SE extreme breather and gives around 10hp but its not the best looking imo. All other filters are either intrusive on your leg or your leg covers a large portion of the filter.

Ever had any issues with the Harley fairing?
@fxlrsnz83643 жыл бұрын
Yes 100% that is my third one because of the rubbish mounting option where the little plastic lugs would break on back of the fairing if removed even slightly wrong (hard to get it right) They covered it under warranty and then the 3rd one came with a slightly better lug that once you add a small amount of rubber grease now works very well. I have heard stpries of them flying off at high speed but even with 2/4 broken lugs i could do 180km no problem. They do vibrate alot due to the way they mount and hopefully a better system will come out eventually.

@@Iswhatitisssss Depending on what model dyna you have and what's been done to it, the old low S dyna is a very good handling bike however if you look into what they have done to the rake and the lean angle degrees on the softail low S it is by far the best handling Harley that is currently available.
