Does the Seal Mate Actually Work? | $10 FIX for Fork Oil Leak!

In this video I’ll show you how to use the Seal Mate to try and stop leaking fork seals. To get fork seals replaced it can be a few hundred dollars, so a nice quick fix like this can be very helpful. Comment down below if you have used one and your experience!

Great video. Step 1, remove your front wheel fender. 😂 I did this today and it worked. But, I didnt remove the fender so I couldnt go all the way around. Tomorrow, I will finish it. But, the leak did stop. I only see the natural amount that lubricates the fork and seal during normal suspension travel.

@@TwoWheelTurban Yes it is definitely worth trying. Oh and shop around on the fork seal replacement. Can't speak for the rest of the US but, Ive gotten quotes from $225 to $295 on fork seal replacement. All Balls Racing has the fork seals with dust seals for $29.38. I think Im going to start wiping mine down with hydraulic fluid or fork oil after each ride to keep em clean.

@@TwoWheelTurban We do it to the aircraft landing gear here at my job at the end of each day of flight. It really cleans them and theyre built virutally the same as motorcycle fork...same seal design.
