The only problem is that TJ gave Anthony Smith the truth too Raw. Anthony Smith strongly identifies as a Veteran MMA fighter who’s on his last run at a UFC title. TJ just took a huge shot at that identity, it’s only natural for smith to become defensive. 99.9% of the mma community agreed with TJ.

Tj Dillishaw is a world UFC champion and literally in the top 1 percent of fighters in accomplishments and IQ. Would fight with a broken arm, Kobe, Jon Jones type savage mentality. I think "Lion Heart" name is more for his toughness; he can take an ass whooping and defensively can survive. I remember him saying he likes the turtle position, in jiu jitsu that's fine because there's no strikes, but in MMA he tends to hang out there for too long, taking a lot of damage. Does not seem like he knows how to wrestle up, or have folk style referee position on getting up. TJ being the more superior wrestler probably saw that and was getting annoyed. Since TJ isn't going to compete anymore, maybe he can get into a more coaching role. Maybe he can give some advice to Anthony Smith and help him out. If Anthony would want the help that is. Sucks to see TJ out of action, I liked the evolution of TJ's striking and approach to MMA. I want to see more athletes take on this approach, so TJ as a coach can bring in a new generation of talent
