Todd's White's ministry (Lifestyle Christianity) is built around elevating his own lifestyle and holiness as the model to follow. As Christians, " If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:8

And yet, from the same letter by the same apostle John. "Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God." (1 John 3)

To use 1 John 1:8 to say John preached against perfection when Johns whole first letter preached perfection is ironic. You are really misinterpreting what " without sin" means

Fred Arroyo Are we reading the same 1 John? It is not speaking to us in regard to our perfection based on our actions but about, just as Paul said in Romans 5, being declared righteous because the righteousness of Christ! I agree, if we walk in darkness, we are not to claim we have “no sin” (v6). Claiming to be perfect, is to “walk in darkness” (v8). This does not give us permission to live life according to our selfish desires, taking advantage of God’s Grace, but lets us know of our need for Christ and His Righteousness. Standing up on a stage declaring perfection of blasphemy. Sorry if you disagree, but the Word of God seems to think so as well. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans‬ ‭5:1-2‬

Fred Arroyo Here’s how I’m reading 1 John1. If you see it differently, let me know. Maybe I’m the one in error. 1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) Proclaiming Jesus being the revealed Word of God (also noted in John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word….”) 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: (As Jesus said in John 14:6-7, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also.” (John 14:7) 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. God is light. If we walk in His ways, we are in the Light. That is only possible through faith in Christ. If that is missing, we walk in darkness. John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me [the Father], that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we claim perfection (ie: never sin or stumble in our walk), we are lying to ourselves and we are not being honest. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. When we admit that we are in need of God’s grace, remission of sins is guaranteed. If not, it is equivalent to calling God a liar.

@@gravesssss Yes sanctification may be a process that goes on until we leave this earth - but it also STARTS on this earth as we continue to place our faith in Jesus and the freedom from sin that He has provided. He saved us FROM sin - He does not merely forgive, and forgive, and forgive us from continued sin. He gave us a new start. He made us new creations. The old has passed away - but we have to put it off and put on the new. When made new creations we are no longer sinners. Please cite a single NT reference where followers of Jesus are identified or addressed as sinners. As I wrote elsewhere on this thread: "Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. @@onesimustim8424 Yet Romans 7 the Apostle Paul says I do the things I don’t want to and the things I want to do, I don’t... Paul clearly talks about the struggle with sin continuously as he references how do I rid this body of death.. which he is talking about how they used attach the body of a dead person and it would slowly kill the person it was attached and he relates that to the body of old.. even though we are a new creation we carry the body of old and sin still infects us.. does that mean we sin willingly? So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Jesus was summarizing the law of God in Matthew 22:37-40. You must love the Lord with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself. In other words, you have to “be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect” (Matthew 5:48) or never sin once, in order to have eternal life. Jesus was using the law of God as a mirror to expose your sin. When you hear this command, you should immediately respond like the tax collector who recognized his sin, and cried out for God’s mercy: “But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’ I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.” - Luke 18:13-14 The wrong way to respond to the law is how the rich young ruler responded. He thought he had kept all of the commandments of God: “You know the commandments, ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’” And he said to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth up.” - Mark 10:19-20

The question is can you die and enter heaven with sin in your heart? I think part of Gods grace is giving you time to change. If Heaven is paradise competley pure. There are plenty of verses to suggest living without falling into sin can be obtained in this life. We only have as much faith as high as we set the bar. So there are 2 sides of the argument - yes John 1:8 does say we decieve ourselves if we claim to be without sin. - What is the context of this? I believe its an unbeliever thinking they don't need Jesus as they have never sinned. However whatever the answer is we better pray and find out because we know the Grace gospel sends people to hell - If you are a worker of inquity and a carnal christian you will not enter heaven. Better to believe in sinless perfect as an aim than grace and inquity. If sinlessness was not obtainable why did Jesus die on a cross?13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

That’s part of the reason we’re drawn to follow Him, because His “yoke is easy” and His “burden is light”.

Jake Tarter Jesus said we to be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect. In saying that he’s not saying that we are capable of reaching sinless perfection in this life, but he’s revealing the perfect standard of the law, which requires you to be holy and without sin. This should cause you to come to Christ pleading for mercy because you know you have fallen short and need a Savior, not to strive harder to reach perfection. Even as a born again Christian we are never completely free of sin until the resurrection when sin and it’s consequences are removed and defeated forever. That doesn’t mean that we don’t pursue holiness; during the process of sanctification over our lives we will become more like Christ, and be free of sins, but at the same time we will become more sensitive to sin, and see more and more of it. If ever you think you are completely free of sin, you are deceived and the truth is not in you. So it’s true that no one has ever obeyed the whole law perfectly for one second.

He said that because thats the first commandment of the law and no one has ever or will ever follow it 100%, but the new law that fulfills all laws is to follow jesus christ and believe him as your savior to be saved from the death of sin.

1 John 3:6, KJV: "Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him." Christians have new nature which was born from the Spirit and christians new nature is untouchable by sin Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Christians new nature is sealed by Holy Spirit. You can't lose Holy Spirit so you can't lose your new nature, so your new nature is untouchable by sin We also have old carnal nature because we are reborn only in spirit not in body. Our old body are sinful. We are waiting for new sinless bodies 2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

It seems like you’re saying it’s wrong to be free from sin and if you mention that your free then you’re in denial. If you’re saying someone can’t ever be free from sin and can’t become like Jesus you are speaking against Jesus’s words. -John 14:12 very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the father. -To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”(John 8:31,32) -Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. (1 John 2:6) -If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his son purifies us from all sin. (1 John 6-7) - My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not send. But if anybody does then, we have an advocate with the father, Jesus Christ, the righteous one. (1 John 2: 1) -But just as he who called you is holy, so me holy and all you do; for it is written: “Be holy because I am holy.“ -it was given to her to close her self in fine linen, bright and clean: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the Saints. I have 2 questions for you: How do we clothe ourselves with Christ? How do we put on the breastplate of righteousness?

Garrett Ederer thanks for the questions Garrett. You quoted a few verses from 1 John which is one of the go to passages for this topic of examining our faith to see if we are truly in the faith. In 1 John in the first chapter we see a few truths about the believer’s life and their relationship to sin: “If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.” ‭‭1 JOHN‬ ‭1:6, 8, 10‬ ‭NASB‬‬ A true Christian does not walk in or practice sin. Does this mean that a true believe must be sinless? No, the very next verses say that Christians still sin. It means that true Christians don’t practice a lifestyle of unhindered or uninterrupted sin because they’ve been born again and the now hate their sin. A true believer will progressively grow in sanctification. They will grow in holiness over their life (they will sin less), but as long as we are in our bodies we will still be battling the flesh. Romans 7 is a passage that illustrates this well. Paul is talking about his battle between Spirit and Flesh as a true Christian. Todd White would say that this passage is referring to Paul before conversion, but this isn’t true. Listen to Paul’s words: “For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. But if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that the Law is good. So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want.” ‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭7:15-19‬ ‭NASB‬‬ We know Paul is describing his experience with his sinful flesh as a believer because he says things that are only true of believers: “I am doing the very thing I hate”, “I practice the very evil I do not want”. An unconverted person would never say that they hate or don’t want to practice sin. Todd White claims that Jesus lived his sinless life as a man and not as God, so that he could be a model for us to do the same. This is not true at all, but this is why Todd thinks he can and is living a sinless life. He’s deceiving himself. If he truly understood the law of God he would know that he has never loved God with all of his heart, and won’t be able to fully until we have resurrected bodies and sin is completely destroyed by God in the end.

Garrett Ederer the passage about doing greater works than Christ is not about doing greater miracles or living a sinless life like Christ. The works that Jesus did we’re intended to point to Himself as the Christ. “Therefore they said to Him, "What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?" Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent."” ‭‭JOHN‬ ‭6:28-29‬ ‭ The works we do are to help others believe that Jesus is the Christ. We do greater works than Jesus in this way because Jesus’ disciples took his gospel message to all nations, whereas Jesus’ ministry was in a small local region. Also when Jesus says to be holy as he is holy, or to be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect... these statements are what God requires in his law. They’re to make us say, “I haven’t been and can’t be perfect. I need a savior.” Not, “I’ve kept the law and think I can achieve this.” No, the law of God and its demands point us to our need of a savior!

Garrett Ederer so once we realize that we are poor in spirit, begin to mourn over our sin, and hunger and thirst for Christ’s righteousness, we say “God have mercy on me, a sinner!” We place our faith or trust in Christ’s righteousness alone for salvation- not our own righteousness (which are filthy rags before a holy God).

@@PopularGospel Thanks for taking the time to reply. I feel like you genuinely believe this and are concerned for people. I hope to keep seeking truth too. I don't want people or myself to be deceived either. I want people to be able to live the most free most fruitful most in love with Jesus as they can. Please keep looking into these things too yourself. (I've been looking into what you've said and researching Kenneth C. Because to be honest I had never heard about that. Now I'm a little confused about why, because to me it doesn't seem like Kenneth is full of love for people and God sometimes and I hope that his life and the possessions are fully used for the kingdom all the time.) Alright now to the bible and the verses you shared. Paul says in Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Here he says Christ lives in him. In Romas 7 he says, "nothing good lives in me." Think about it. People under the law, had a knowledge of what God wanted, but were unable to do the will of God because of the sinful nature. There are some people that want to do God's will and want to know him more, but aren't saved. In the book of Acts there was a group of people that were water baptized, but were not baptized by the Spirit yet. They had never heard about it before. The disciples before they were all baptized with the Holy Spirit all wanted to follow Jesus. They said they would die for him, but they all denied him on the night he was taken away. If you read Romans 5, 6, 7 and 8 strait trough chapter 7 is sandwiched right in there between amazing verses about being free from sin and the possibility to be free from sin through the power of the Holy Spirit, the same spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead.) (Shown below) Romans 5:19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.(made righteous through Jesus, forgiven of all sins.) Romans 6: 1 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? (We have died to sin.) Romans 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin- 7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Romans 6:11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. Romans 7: 5 For when we were in the realm of the flesh,[a] the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. 6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. Look here's another part of Romans 7 and this is definitely talking about before salvation, before Holy Spirit. --14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. He says, "I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin." Why would he say this after he just said we are dead to sin and to consider yourself dead to sin and slaves unto righteousness? Why would he say he's unspiritual, if he received the Holy Spirit? Keep reading and read it all together. Romans 8: 9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life[d] because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of[e] his Spirit who lives in you. 12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation-but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. Romans 8- We have the new covenant where by the Spirit we can put to death the misdeeds of the body and we are called to do that. There is freedom in Jesus. If you put a ceiling on how free people can be from sin before heaven then you're giving sin power in people's lives and never giving the faith to God and his power to do that in you. "A good tree can not bear bad fruit and a bad tree can not bear good fruit." What are we? What is our nature? Where does our nutrients come from? There's a difference between saying "I'm a sinner." As in I have sinned in my life and saying, "I'm a sinner." As in that's who I am in my nature. (Saying your a bad tree. Look at what the writers of the New Testament call the people they are writing to. Romans --loved by God and called to be his holy people: 1 Corinthians 1:2 To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be his holy people, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ-their Lord and ours: 2 Corinthians 1:1 To the church of God in Corinth, together with all his holy people throughout Achaia: Galatians 3 :26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Ephesians 1:1 To God’s holy people in Ephesus,[a] the faithful in Christ Jesus: Philippines 1:1 To all God’s holy people in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons Colossians 1:1 2 To God’s holy people in Colossae, the faithful brothers and sisters[a] in Christ: So, we don't see the writers of these books addressing: To the sinners in _____. The good news of the Gospel is not just that we are saved and set apart one day for heaven, but that we become new creations here and experience the first fruits of the Holy Spirit. So in our beliefs we have to be careful who and what we give power to by what we believe. We should call believers what they called them in the new testament, holy and saints.

@@PopularGospel If you read 1st John again, it's not saying that you will always keep on sinning. It's saying you can't claim that you have never sinned in your entire life. Todd White claims to have sinned a lot in his life. He talks about it all the time in his testimony. 1 John 8,9 --8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. (It says right in the middle of there if we confess our sins, he is faithful adn just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. So.. If I confess my sins and am purified from all unrighteousness, what does that make me? Where are my sins? Are they in me still? Are they part of me still? Is that who I am still? Do I have to do that sin again in the future?) 1 John 3: 4-6 4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. Jesus came in the 'flesh' --as a man. He did what he did as a man he laid off his heavenly divinity. It says in the bible that God can not be tempted and that God never sleeps. But Jesus was tempted at every point and was without sin and he slept. Also look at Philippians 2:5-8 5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death- even death on a cross! 1 John 4:2-6 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. 4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit[a] of truth and the spirit of falsehood. Jesus referred to himself as the Son of God and the Son of man. Why would you want to live your life thinking that "I will never love God with all my heart? " With God all things are possible. Let's Keep our eyes on Jesus and not on ourselves. Let's not look to our abilities, but his abilities in and through us. Let's fix our eyes on Jesus the author and prefector of our faith.

Is this posted because of someone walking in guilt shame and condemnation? It seems like we should be promoting a lifestyle of righteousness and holy living instead of bashing our brother in Christ. That’s kind of the opposite of what the Bible instructs is to do. TW admits his sin and then lives with a mindset that is fixed on Christ instead of sin consciousness. Is that wrong? If so what must I do to be saved?! I thought that was all part of the process. Repent, make Him Lord and then let Holy Spirit cleanse us from unrighteousness. Then walk in communion with our God and fix our eyes on Christ!

The problem is, we the church, far too often tear someone down and judge their message, without considering that they might have something we don’t. We get too caught up in trying to justify sin, or worse yet, try to fix sin by applying the law. The law brings death because of sin, but the Spirit brings life because the law of grace shows us a better way. If we are following the Spirit and Christ in me is the hope of glory, then we don’t walk in sin. It’s like if drive down Interstate five from Portland, you will be on the path to reach Grants pass, you are not gonna miss it, because you’re on the path. But if you stop following the path you won’t make it until you get back in the path. He made it easy, because He paved the way, and paid the price to build the road, strait to His heart. Jesus already paid the price to bring you to His heart, following the Spirit is like going down the road with a really great navigation system, He’s the road, He’s the navigation, and He’s the destination. Don’t let side roads and short cuts get you off track from following the Spirit. We don’t “try” to live perfect lives, we press toward Him, because He already lived a sinless life for us, and poured out His Spirit that we also might live free. Freedom comes from following Him, not meeting ourselves up or tearing down others, to make ourselves right. He is right and I’d follow Him to the end, we fall right into His arms

I was raped at 4 and have been watching porn from maybe 8, I was depressed and full of rage, God set me free from ALL sin, I obey all the commands but it’s not by my strength whatsoever, it’s by a fully surrendered heart, through faith and the power of grace by the Holy Spirit I am being transformed, 2 cor 16-18 But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. 17Now the Lordd is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. This is the image of Christ we are being transformed into free from all Sin, Hebrews 5:7-10 In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. 8Although he was a son, he LEARNED OBEDIENCE through what he suffered. 9And BEING MADE PERFECT, he BECAME the source of eternal salvation to all who OBEY him, 10being designated by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek, Jesus Flesh was at At war against God just as ours is an obedience was learned and he was made perfect through relationship that is what we are called to do that’s why it says he is the way the truth and the life if you read the Bible any other way it will contradict itself over and over again but you can’t get there by striving, only through actually believing it and through relationship. He said John 14:15 if you love me, you will obey my commandments

If we truelly lay our life down on the alter and die to self we get baptized in fire and we can live with out sin as we walk by spirit. Read 1 john. He speaks of this. 9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 11. For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, I beleived exactly what you did until god showed me i was blind to the power of god, he said it is finished. But if we beleive we are not dead to sin then we will not live from victory. We will live from darkness to the light. But we our the light in the dark. God came to take sin out of us, to deal with the slavery of sin... we our no longer slaves of sin. We our a new creater called sons of god with the living god in side us, the holy spirits brings life to our bodies. If holyvspirit does this how can we continue to sin? Bible is clear about this i urge you to read the new testament for yourself as a child. Let the bible speak with out any ideas you have been told. Religion has it wrong, jesus is auther and finisher as we look to him every moment of the day laying our self down on they alter. Jesus said anyone that wants to fallow him most denie himself pick up his cross(die) daily and fallow his life as the example. We our to be a living sacrifice just as our king did. Religion has made this something that it is not. To die to self is to no you died with jesus on the cross and know your only alive for jesus.your existence is for him alone and not for you because you died and our already seated with jesus.

You fail to understand scripture. Jesus Christ lived a life that taught humility before God. This topic is covered well here: carm.org/can-true-christian-sin When you become boastful before the Lord, it is a sign of pride and conceit and an appeal to vanity. Jesus Christ taught us to live with humility. biblereasons.com/humility/ Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Isaiah 57:12 I will expose your righteousness and your works, and they will not benefit you. Luke 3:8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved by faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. May the Peace and Love of Jesus Christ Be With You
