I was the first person to be diagnosed with ADHD in NZ in 1979. In fact in the early days my case was used as the case study for psychiatrists for years. And I was a really bad case. But I've run a successful business for 35 years. Its never an excuse for anything.

As someone who does suffer from these conditions myself I can say her descriptions of her feelings are in line with the disorders. But the key is not to let the condition become you and learn to work around it. You can have the issues and do a good job, she just happens to also do a bad job.

I live and voted in Wellington and I certainly did not vote for Tory Whanau. I saw her as someone who had no background that fitted her to lead the capital city. All that I could think of was that there are loads of gullible voters in Wellington. Let's see if her playing the victim has any effect on her popularity.
