@@chrisduffy8609 you realize blacks, latinos, asians, and native americans just voted for Donald in large numbers right? Maybe the modern right isn't what the media have told you it is. In fact it's the modern left who wants to split everyone by race and gender and give certain groups power over others. You can see from the US election that westerners no matter the race are rejecting that now.
@Hatunrumioc
@Hatunrumioc Ай бұрын
@@chrisduffy8609 yeah but look at the US elections and see that huge numbers of minorities have rejected the left and moved to the right. And that's because in 2024 it's the left that wants to split everyone by race and gender and give some groups special rights above others. And it's the right that is rejecting that and offering equality. This bill which literally states that all Kiwis are equal is being introduced by a Maori of a conservative/libertarian party within a conservative coalition. I don't think you understand the current political climate and are holding on to old, and false, stereotypes and ideas about which side represents which values. Remember it was the Democrats in the South that wanted to keep slaves in the US and it was the Republicans in the north that defeated them under Lincoln. The sides can switch but apparently you're yet to realize that.

The haka she did was not the haka of all Maori people, it is the haka of a particular tribe of Maoris. When a group of people force a collectivist identity onto people who can be considered to be of that group but do not want to be forced onto that identity as defined by that group of people, it is fascism, communism and primitive tribalism. It also made me imagine what if every Maori person just did haka at someone they do not agree with and cannot come up with better arguments or debates against, that would be kind of chaotic lol. It definitely would not be and should not be considered as civilized behavior which respect the spirit of democratic dialogue.
