If you equip a pendulum monster to an effect monster, lets say you equip a scale 1 to Relinquished, and you place it in the left pendulum zone and also you have a scale 5 pend in the right zone, can you actually pendulum summon using the equiped monster as a scale since it is in the pendulum zone?

No ya cannot because Relinquished equips the targeted monster as a spell card. Ya need to hard activate a Pendulum monster from the hand into one of either the leftmost or rightmost zones for it to be considered as an active Pendulum scale

nah you need to manually place the monster in the Pendulum Zone from your hand or via a card effect that would treat it as a Pendulum Monster But that would have been very funny to be able do so with cards like Union Carrier tho

On the reflection question: reflection uses the “and” conjunction. So if you can’t do both you do neither. So if you can’t. Bounce the jackal you don’t bounce your opponents card.

If it said "both" (like Escape of the Unchained) then Disaster wouldn't be bounced. When it has "and", "them" or "those targets" it resolves as much as possible. "And" is used here like "also" (at least it was written "also" in some OCG translations) but i believe they would use "and if you do" if they wanted to word it as you believe. Still it's such BS, they should stick to 1 use of the key words so we dont get that confusion. A lot of people talk about dmg step but imagine the wormhole that "it"/"that target"/"those targets"/"them"/"all of them"/"them" is.

The Master Cerberus vs. Apollousa ruling needs some clarification. Apollousa's effect changes its original ATK, so Master Cerberus should gain it. The only explanation I can think of is Master Cerberus' effect checking the original ATK after Apollousa is banished, but it's an "and if you do" effect, meaning it happens simultaneously, so that doesn't really make much sense.

It's the same reason why if you Dragoon pop a token, opp won't take any damage. If it doesn't have original attack in its new location then original attack is basically 0. It's important to note that "and if you do" does NOT mean it's simultaneous. Think about it... you have to do the first part before in order to check if you "did" it.

Yes, it does say "banished monster's original ATK", which does mean it checks the original ATK in the banish pile, not on the field. That's why it's +0 ATK.

Just saying these questions are a lot harder than the Orcust ones, the hardest Orcust question was an attack modifier but Trif needed to know the intricate ruling on Spell Counter specific cards, PSCT to know that the "also" conjunction is godly and knowledge of the mechanics of the Pendulum Summon (something most player of YuGiOh don't even know how to perform)

So for the final question, one of the monsters that would be summoned is a pendulum monster. I know what I'm about to ask is NOT the exact same scenario, BUT if you would pendulum summon 4 monsters while the opponent controls Evolzaur, but one of the would-be summons is coming from the Extra Deck and would therefore be summoned to the Extra Monster Zone, would you be able to use Gamma since you only "occupy" 3 main monster zones?

That last ruling was pretty clear to me. If you could Gamma, there would be no way to resolve the summon in a non-awkward way (like "going back and changing how many monsters you summon" awkward).

The only thing i know is the scaling and it took me a year or 2 to understand it like if you have 2 and 5 you have to play monsters between those levels like 3 to 4 stars monsters. The rest i'm confused specially when it can be a spell and trap and go back to your extra deck after being destroyed. But i can't wait till duel links have it so i can practice i was practing before but due to the lock down last year i can't do it and then my yugi players moved so yha lack of friends to play.
