Good stuff! I have my foundations pretty dialed except for the general activity. Maybe I will set some minimum daily step goals.

I love that reframing of “basics” to “foundational”. That seems less ambiguous for sure. Personally I think it feels both like hardly anything AND like a lot of work, simultaneously. I guess just some days it’s more to ask for than others but, overall, I think these foundational pieces are probably achievable for most/many people, especially if introduced gradually and made into habits.

Exercising x5 a week seems like a lot for a baseline. I know it's based on research and as a society we're probably just so sedentary that normal seems like a lot. To be clear, I'm exercising that much right now after introducing formal cardio for the first time this year.
