I remember my first Cat. I got her from the farmer who owned the property that our house was built on. (1949) I was about 7 years old. Victor (farmer) was going to drown her because she was a Runt! I begged him to let me take her home. My parents were NOT HAPPY! But they said I could keep her and I would be responsible to take care of her! I did and she survived to become a producer of 2 litters a year. All born in my closet. I’ve had many cats since the first one. I have a 12 year old American Bobtail that has Blue eyes and is a very snuggly boy!
