1. You need the spacer between the engine and trans. That little bit of clearance makes a big difference. 2. You can NOT dump the clutch, if you dump the clutch you will continuously break the case like that. Preload, preload preload.

I ordered a spacer after from ricardo The twin disk spun by hand but after a heat cycle ate badly into the pinion. Should’ve replaced the housing then but it wasn’t cracked. The twin disk also got over extended badly and pushed into the pinion. Lessons learned lol Im waiting to see what comp does with the clutch, but for now going back to the fx400 and getting a 10’ next time out.
