I'm sorry that not one of the 3,000 viewers could take the time and comment on this cool video. Every word out of her mouth was so true. I am by no means a professional trainer, but I have trained many dogs. My sister owns two Boston Terriers, one of which I trained from 9 weeks old... 13 hand commands within one week. I reinforced these commands, potty trained him, leash trained him, etc. continuing on for one full month while my sister was getting married, buying a house, honey moon. I didn't take long under her "control" for the dog to loose his ways. She then buys a second Boston(a few years later), and there is utter chaos in their house, the second one is totally out of control, biting, and untrained. I "borrow" the dog once in awhile and he is an absolute angel for me. Giving him back takes him less than 24 hours to revert back to his original state. No, they won't give me the dog :(

This is what shelters do to make sure that they don't adopt out dangerous dogs to the public? What would you have them do instead? Use real kids or their hands instead?

What would you do then to make sure that the dogs you're adopting out are safe for the average owner to own? How would you test them then without getting anyone hurt? This is the sad task that they have to do to fix the shelter dog problem that idiots caused. It's better to discover the issue now then have Dusty bit someone and be put down without the people that loved her nearby.@@Dehzee

​@@iwanfals7143 sadly, and I’m making a guess here because pitnuts follow Sue around everywhere and constantly claim she doesn’t “get” pits when she’s been a trainer for over thirty years, the poster is a pit nut who doesn’t care about dogs in general or even pits. Pits spend their entire lives in shelters because they have bite histories - so years in concrete kennels - but certain posters don’t care about this - they just want to play martyr (but MY pibble would never ever!) and then condemn people like Sue for pointing out truth. Shelters are tragic messes these days, and many families we know won’t even go to shelters because they don’t want a you know what labeled as a “lab mix” that is an aggressive and unmanageable nightmare not a family pet
