This is an issue in my family. I did not know not to let the dogs play together, in the beginning.

This is so accurate! My big dog learned to bully our little dog to get her attention and to play. He had a hard time at the dog park at first! Fortunately he wasn't an aggressive animal due to his genetics but I learned that dogs definitely learn bad behavior from being around other dogs!

Please be very careful with this woman. I surrendered a Pit Puppy to the Bucks County SPCA in Pennsylvania where this woman is employed. This was a hyper dog, as are ALL puppies. However while in my care, I was able to calm him down....and I'm not a dog "expert." After a few months went by and I did not see my dog posted on their website, I called and learned that Sue Sternberg determined that "Desmond was too hyper." She advised Euthanasia. Sue Sternberg, whose statements on her website are seemingly very snooty and defensive to widespread criticism, is of the opinion that complaints about her are only because she is Jewish. Clearly she has no ability to say, "I was wrong." Could she possibly be any more unprofessional, unethical, uncompassionate and disingenuous? Sue, while watching this video, I noticed that you seem to be speaking rather fast; perhaps you are a tad bit hyper. I think it would be an excellent activity for you to change careers and become a prison guard. That way you will be able to more closely identify and surround your psyche with murderers and criminals like yourself. You are NO animal advocate. You are being paid by the BCSPCA to put Pit Bulls to sleep because they are difficult to place. You are not fooling anyone. I look forward to writing my next nationally read blog on you!!!! Hugs, JM

@Joanne Moore We took in a full blooded pit 9 week old puppy that our neighbors moved and left behind. He had many anxiety issues due to being alone and afraid of people for over a week. It took me almost a week to lure him close enough for me to grab. I was a Human Society foster parent for problem puppies and dogs for 15 years. I had only up until that point had Pomoranians, the last 6 were too abused at the raided puppy mill and they became permanent fur babies in our home. I had heard all the BS about pits and knew I could help this pit puppy. He and a female pit/lab became permanent fur babies in our home and the last of my fostering with the humane society... I had my own doggie farm and couldn't handle anymore. The pit is terrified of so many things and has a permanent anxiety issue that requires medication daily. His little fur baby sister the pit/lab mix we last took in helps to keep him feel secure. Chester is now 7 year's old and is the most loving and we'll behaved dog of our 7 dog's...5 poms, him and jazzy the pit/lab mix. I get really pissed off when pits are euthanized because the breed is dangerous!!! SO NOT TRUE!!!! It's all in how they are raised. If you show them love, nuturing and kindness they are the most amazing breed. I am so sorry this WITCH put your pit fur baby down. She will have to deal with God in the end for all of her evil doings. My heart and prayers go out to you.

I dont think that this woman has any idea what she's talking about. She also doesn't appear to have any actual credentials in animal behavior or anything else. She says things like "i look at that one moment and i say why does he have a desire to go to that dog?" as if she's so perceptive noticing these little details in the dog behavior. There's 100 dogs over there, that he checks them out doesn't seem all that profound. But then she turns it into an issue and labels that dog as reactive or resource guarding, which is really troubling if anyone is actually listening to her or making decisions about a dogs care based on her bogus diagnoses.
