To be honest i would be suprised if a kid did not feel that way, have no children so maybe they are less kind than i imagine lol, but the kid has not seen his dad for 2 years and he is what maybe 10 yrs old, so i think it is normal for it to feel like such a big deal, and way bigger than a birthday. My husband is a truck driver. Out 3 months at a time. His dog, Chucky the truck driving chihuahua, developed a nervous fear and has to stay home now. It's so amazing how perceptive and keen dogs are to situations. Ru had never met him before yet she acted like she'd known him her whole life - she knew that was daddy & daddy is home now. Dogs are truly the greatest gift ever. I'd be lost without my Boxer, Pugzu and Pitbull. I love seeing other people who are as dedicated to their dogs as I am. It gives me faith in humanity.

That's how my beloved dog crazy Daisy acts when I just brought out the garbage... Sadly my giant baby girl passed away in august 2019 cause of cancer and since that horrible day I am heartbroken... This little boy is so sweet and affectionate. He and his mom search for adopters of shelter and animal rescue dogs...
