My husband and I have been dog less for over two years and we miss our girl. We're finishing our new and last(!) house and thinking about getting a new dog. I started watching Lucky Dog several years ago and really enjoy the show. Brandon's training methods are so common sense and humane. I've suggested other dog owners watch him and they have all said they've used his methods with success. Glad to see you back on Saturday mornings! ❤

I know Brandon's techniques, but it still makes me feel good and puts me in a good frame of mind for positive interactions with my dog every time I watch one of his videos. Thanks, Brandon!

I discovered Brandon by accident on tv about 2 months and can't stop watching all his old episodes of Lucky Dog. I was sad to hear that he's not doing new programs but I'm finding his training videos and his KZbin program Stray Recon wonderful. This Off command video is great because it shows the persistence needed especially with a pup that's a little stubborn. Thanks Brandon... keep up the great work.

I Loved how authentic and genuine you were with all the pups on lucky dog. Definitely won’t be the same without you but I love that I now found your KZbin channel. Looking forward to the videos :)

Brandon, this was the best training video I've seen. It showed how you can condition the wrong thing (leash) and back up, figure out how "to meet in the middle" to continue to the desired behavior. Being new dogs I know I'd end up training the wrong thing. It was fantastic to see you can get unstuck and have a great training session and result. Your enthusiasm for teaching humans and dogs and your compassion bring me joy. Thank you!

So interesting, Brandon. Spencer is one cute Setter Doodle! He did a good job with learning your off command. I knew you would show him the way with patience.

I love this. I always tell my students to use off. Because we train down for them to lay down. If you say down and the lay down you have no right to get upset with them as they did what you asked.

Brandon, thank you for the amazing training videos. I can’t stop watching. I am feeling so much better about someday getting my forever friend. I hope to someday get a therapy dog for a forever friend. I have slight mobility issues with recurring pain, and am full time caregiver for my 92 year old best friend and husband. Does anyone know how to go about getting a therapy dog?

Great tips, and I'm so thankful for your expert videos. PLEASE tell me how to get my 2 yr old Lab/Pit to truly "drop it" when playing fetch. He LOVES his ball SO MUCH that he really doesn't want to let it go. He keeps it at his nose and tries to snatch it as soon as he sees my hand go for the ball. He also like to prop his bone or stuffed animal on me while chewing on it- which is awful because sometimes he bites me by accident. I can't find any tips for these two issues and I seriously want to fix it.

Should I use a different command than "off" when teaching puppy to not jump up on people when greeting guests? Or can I use Off for both get down and no jumping up?

The trick is knowing when to stop. I sometimes find myself thinking “ok, you’re doing so good. Let’s try one more time!” And that one more time is what leads to me thinking about strangling them. ( I wouldn’t really strangle them, just frustrating)

Is the command "off" or "off, off" cause your repeating the command. You're also not consistent in your marker word.
