I'm happy to watch your renovation project too. It made me realize that just because you made something doesn't mean you have to live with it forever. I'm so happy that the water is getting warmer for Frank it will really be therapeutic for him when it really warms up. Just like me I have a Rheumatic disease basically Rheumatic arthritis in my entire spine& shoulders 30 min of water warm ups&exercises followed by 30 minutes of swimming 3x@wk.. It lessens the pain and stiffness for a couple hours afterwards.... But cold water intensifies the pain&stiffness. Has to be warm 87°to 95° Fahrenheit perfect.. He is just so cute and fun to watch. What a beautiful place the river and the drive to the hardware store. So very pretty.. What a beautiful area your parents live in. I can't wait to see the finished van! how cool is that. As always safe and happy travels✌😘 Big hugs to Frank p.s. I love a good swing myself I recently went to the park down the street. And people were staring at me like I lost my mind.. couple women probably around my age 65 just kept staring. So I finally said. You really ought to try it. Feels really good just like when you were kid's 😆 😆 😆

I don’t know why each time I see coniferous forest I am in awe. I looooove conifers 🥰 they are so green and they all point to the sky. They summon me to contemplation, they have a message for my soul, of which I am not privy to know the content of that message 😳 It’s between them and my soul. Nice trip to the hardware store! I 😍 when Frank was chasing you as you were swinging on the swing with his stick in his mouth. You laughing made me laugh too watching it 😅 He loves to play fetch in the water and swim. Such a smart absolutely adorable 🐶 The Reno is coming along nicely. The mix up video of not only the reno but walk in the park enjoying nature and taking a break spending time with Frank and family was great👍

I loved seeing and feeling yours and Franks pace on your walks. The slow mindful amble. I could feel Frank’s love of swimming - the weightlessness must feel glorious on his old joints and bones. And I enjoyed hearing your thoughts and ruminations on the benefits and challenges of working with the various substances that go into your van building projects over the years. All those tubes, pastes, liquids and solids that you use to craft a beautiful, artful mobile nest. I appreciate your perspective and thoughts on your present moments.

I LOVE the gratification of seeing big improvements! Just the sanding has made such a difference! The wood filler is basically sawdust and wood glue. I learned that probably from watching "This Old House" 😅

So you're going with a sideways bed....that will leave you more leg room and the great view...Awesome it's very exciting. The Sanding looks great a fresh new surface! You can also buy the wood filler in a cup with a top so it's scoop able. The only thing is wood filler does not accept stain too well...I learned that the hard way.

I love Frank so much. He seems to be a very contemplative dog, except of course when there are sticks! Our current ACD has always been rather serious, especially when the camera is on, but the one we lost a couple years ago was a clown even when she passed her 15th birthday! I’m always interested in how full-timers do their build, as they spend the most time in their vans. Looking forward to seeing what you’re going to do!

Frank thinks the swing is the hammock. Green makes for a great stealth van. We insulated and put up plywood in my she shed. Then I just varnished the plywood, and it looks beautiful. My dog likes to sleep against wall too. I think they feel secure with wall as bolster.

K, so the filler...according to my hubby, the filler has grit in it so paint will adhere to it better. We just celebrated our 30th anniversary yesterday so we know each other verrrrrry well and I think he's full of sh*t and totally made that up. I'm so glad you are sanding everything down now...everything will be so nice and fresh, and you can take your time doing it exactly how you want to. Soooooo excited for you!
