Ok so Ozzy is a legend. If you really love his voice go to an album called Blizzard of Ozz and the song is called Goodbye To Romance. Or you can look up another song of his called Changes that was recorded when he was with Black Sabbath. He has so many songs that are great. If you are looking for his heavier things look up Black Sabbath and Iron Man or War Pigs. If you are looking for good singing songs I would also suggest Road To Nowhere and I’ll See You On the Other Side. Much love girl

Ozzy Osbourne will be remembered as the most significant and immortal heavy metal icon in history. Hell, he invented the genre of 'heavy metal' in 1970 with Black Sabbath. He went solo in 1979 and invented 1980s L.A. 'glam metal' with booze, drugs, women everywhere, and the over the top stage shows and face melting guitar solos that left audiences entranced in his spell. All of the over-the-top production and glamour of 1980s rock n roll was Ozzy's idea no one but him believed could be the future of the genre. He literally willed it into existence himself because no one else saw the possibilities in it but him! He was also the first paparazzi celebrity that the media followed because at any second he could produce the most absurd single moment of entertainment imaginable. His drinking and drug use made him so radioactive that he could turn something as simple and boring as a guided tour at the Alamo in San Antonio, TX into an international affair that made news all around the globe (look it up!). Then, in 1994, he got snubbed from a spot on the Lollapalooza summer tour. This really pissed him off. So he responded by launching his own tour of heavy metal bands instead called Ozzfest. The Ozzfest Tour is waaaay more prestigious and successful than Lollapalooza ever was. Among heavy metal bands, headlining Ozzfest at least once in their careers is the holy grail they all aspire to. It's far more sacred to the musicians themselves to lead an Ozzfest Tour cycle than it is to win a Grammy. It's always so strange to me when I hear people say they only know Ozzy from that trainwreck reality show on MTV in the early-mid 2000s. Because as big of a spectacle that show was, it was only a fraction of the star power Ozzy Osbourne could burn at! He's essentially the Stan Lee of hard rock and heavy metal because he pioneered so many things in his career. The man is the only unquestioned giant of heavy metal. *There will never be another Ozzy Osbourne for the remainder of life on Earth!*

I would love more Ozzy reactions. Though, this song is a softer side, compared to the other Ozzy songs I know. Ozzy is a huge influence and legend of the genre. His first band, Black Sabath, were basically pioneers. Then after that band broke up, he had another band, in which he had a guitarist named Randy Rhodes who was one of the best guitarists there are. Unfortunately Randy passed in his early 20's in a plane crash, so we'll never know what more we could've had with him. There's an old live performance called "Mr. Crowley" and I think "Crazy Train" in which you can see Randy Rhodes perform. There's not many videos of him, unfortunately. One of my other favorites is "No More Tears". Not as much for the lyrical content, but for the instrumentation and overall sound. My ears gravitate more towards sounds than lyrical content, but I've been striving to pay more attention to lyrics the last few years.

Part 1-Captain Howday...Part 2-Street Justice Ozzy; Shot in the Dark Mr Crowley Flying High Again The Ultimate Sin Living Colour; Cult of Personality (Music Video) Poison; Something to Believe in UnSkinny Bop Every Rose Has it’s Thorn Judas Priest: -Heading out to the Highway -Electric Eye -Some Heads are Gonna Roll -The Riper WASP; The Last Command Cries in the Night Restless Gypsy Widowmaker Blind in Texas Jack Action Wild Child There! That oughta keep you busy for a while 😁. Also, be sure to pull up the lyrics when checking out a lot of these tracks, as many of them have deeper meanings within the songs. In addition, it’s usually best to start off with the studio versions, as much of the little nuances get lost in the hype and background noise of live performances. Best of luck on your metal journey. Oh speaking of ‘Journey’ Check out (By Journey) Edge of the Blade Chain Reaction Frontiers -- Now, I wasn’t sure if you had done any Metallica yet or not. Most reactors have, so I refrained from providing you a list. But if you haven’t, Your viewership will quadruple with the inclusion of these Metallica gems.... The Four Horsemen For whom the Bell Tolls Creeping Death Fade to Black Master of Puppets Orion (instrumental) Disposable Heroes Welcome Home (Sanitarium) The Call of Kutulu (instrumental) And one more note: be sure to pull up the lyrics for each track when analyzing. Many 80s metal songs come with deep meanings or storytelling aspects to them that may not fully be understood or appreciated without taking in the lyrics. Thanks again!!!
