Thanks for watching!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Nice review! I was wondering if it had a way to prop it up. Here's a tip. You could cut some foam board and use tape (or not) as a hinge to prop it up! When the foam board gets too beat up, just replace it!

I just purchased one of these. I was wondering if I should keep the box to store it in, in my RV, or if it is durable enough just folded up?

Do you have to use a 12v to get the amp rating? I am just plugging in usb devices to the controller, but it doesn't read amps but at about to .4amp. I doubt it is giving the right amp because it is so low. You said you used a battery boost box? When you plugged in the Stanley, the controller shot up to 4.8amps vs. .3amps. How or why did the Stanley suddenly improve the amps? Did more devices drive the voltage down and increase the amps?

Worth noting that these sorts of panels do not cope well with any form of shadow.

Hi there, is the Charge controller voltage programmable? I would like to use it for a lithium iron battery and although it does't seem to have a lithium mode perhaps if the voltages can be programmed it could still work.

Is the 5 ish amp going into the battery per hour? You're adding 5 amps every hour?..... or is that incorrect?

Hard to find extention cables for this with SAE connectors AWG 10 Or AWG 12. Only very short cords or long cords but super skinny wire.

Now only if Dokio would send out the Load cable when you buy from them. I bought the 100w panel kit and they didn’t send it, so this week I ordered a 20amp controller kit because the first picture shows the Load cable included and again no cable. And the newer controller the battery cable is extremely short maybe 24 inches

Its ok, if you want a really portable panel. But i do recommend hard cased panels, regular ones for most usage. Sturdier, last longer in the end.

Will this keep my RV Battery charged up while boondocking ? ...... I quess it's how much sun you can get.
@MicahGallant
@MicahGallant 5 жыл бұрын
it would help - all depends on how much load you're expecting to put on it. this is only 100 watts, so 600 watt hours on a good day?. This would be good for a solar shed, smaller setup. for an RV, and boon docking, you would want 300 or 400 watts minimum i think if you are expecting to run lights, charge laptops, cell phones, run water pumps etc.

@@MicahGallant I boondock full time in the winter in AZ (more sun). Mostly use my laptop and phone. run water pump, lights same as you mentioned, propane refrigerator start up I had 2 12v batteries and 200watt attached panels. NEVER ran low on power. I watched this video because I purchased this product last summer. . I now have a different RV with only 1 AGM battery and hard to add more. I wanted to learn more. Point: 300 watts isn't the minimum needed.

@@mer2633 True, depends where you are, angle of sun. Up north here, you need a lot more to make it work.

@@pattycota6195 A buddy of mine used this panel to charge his RV battery during the day. He said it does a great job and tops his single battery off for the night. He did convert all his lighting to LED which uses much less power at night. He has boondocked for up to 7 days and it worked great. You probably already purchased one since your comment was 1 year ago.

If you get a proper mppt charge controller you can get the max out of it. With that cheap pwm controller you are loosing at least 25-30 %

Its not an PWM, just a simple on off switch. Easy enough to replace though.
