Yeah, that’s how I feel too. I listen to him sing now more for the purpose of relaxation😐.

Damn. He sounds like he's on xanax.

Change their name to Dokken Crue. He's got the singing chops of Vince Neil and the mobility of Mick Mars

This is so hard to watch Don struggle with these classic songs,he needs to just hang up the mic,kudos to him for trying to play these classic songs,but it’s not working,I’m a Dokken fan big time,and this just pains me

He still smokes cigarettes and he's old so it makes sense.

Was that Don or Inspector Gadget???

Don is the back up singer?
@Eugenestube17 күн бұрын
This is just silly. He needs 6 mos off nicotine and 6 mos of vocal chord strength exercises. Then maybe....even still, there's no Dokken w/o GL.

why is he still singing when he clearly can't.......pretty sad. Def leopard said it best, it's better to burn out than too fade away.
@steverherb18 күн бұрын
I think Neil Young said that

Dokken is one of my all-time favorites but this lineup sounds weak and Don's voice....well, not good.

80’s bands that still play look like bad jokes. They ran their courses but now need to retire.

I don't think that is possible. He is on record saying that doctors ruined his vocal cords permanently due to a botched neck surgery. His right arm is also paralyzed so Don can no longer play guitar or piano any longer. He's had a very rough couple of years but the bills need to be paid and if promoters are going to offer him a paycheck he is obliged to accept, huh

Musicians, like actors, get royalties off their previous work, so there is no need for him to keep performing. He could retire comfortably.
@javtimestwo17 күн бұрын
@@jocelynharris-fx8ho Some do get royalties and very few of them receive checks that are large enough to be life changing. Dokken last sold any significant amount of records back in 1995. Do you really think the checks coming in every quarter decades later are significant? Dokken never headlined arenas and didn't have a top 40 hit single either. Don must need the money but he's also suffered devastating health issues recently that have kept him from performing at a high level
