That is one of the beautiful things about home theatre is that it can be crafted to the listens specifications. Some set up even when high end do not have that much of impact for some listeners but a cheaper more personalized set can be more effective to that person. In a 5.1 the speakers are suppose to be at the side of the ear but I have always preferred them to the rear.

Better putting them in the ceiling rhe wall of sound is impressive but tbh atmos is sound coming directly from the ceiling. Easy to do all you need is one screw for each.

Did you end up liking the sound of these for height channels?

Yeah I like them. They don’t have the same crisp as the bigger surrounds but for atmos audio track it’s fine. In the future I’ll probably upgrade all the reference speakers to reference premier

You know they do sell bookshelf speaker wall mounts so you don't need to drill into your speaker.

I love your setup, but how does it sound? None of your surrounds are at ear level.

It sounds good. It would sound better if they were ear level but after calibration it does a good job

Is the projector screen acousticly treated, like does the sound come through the screen?

It is not. I’ve since moved and changed setups but it’s still in the way of my center

Why would you downgrade your atmos speakers with Klipsch from the Sony's? The Sony's have the best atmos speakers out of all companies.

For this video Denon X4700H. However I now use a Onkyo TX-RZ50 and have 7.1.4 setup

That many speakers in a small room won't sound good at all your going to get mixed sounds direction if not separated more

what's better about the onkyo vs the denon?

Sound profile to my ears. Denon had no “bass” either it was very lacking but my previous onkyo had a lot more and so does this one. I prefer dirac live and accueq compared to adussy. Lastly the onkyo has a physical button that let’s me quickly change between monitor 1 and 2. On both receivers if you have both enabled it defaults to the lowest support res/refresh rate. I need to switch whenever I use my projector. Also I sold my denon for more than my onkyo cost
