When my father was sick I lived in tennessee and they called me and said he’s not going to make it much longer can you come so I made it about 3 hours before he passed but my brother and sister were there by his bedside and we told stories for him to listen too he really enjoyed the stories . Right before he passed he looked over at me and gave me the biggest smile I was the last one he looked and I knew he was saying I’m proud of you I love you with his eyes 😩

I missed seeing my dad by about 2hrs before god took him away , he passed away from a sudden heart attack on my way to visit him. That mourning before I got the bad news I seen a bright light shining in my kitchen while having a cup of tea and till the day I pass I still it was him saying good bye. I learnt if I make it out of bed and look out my window and see the day I am happy. Family is the most valuable thing in the world.

My children and grandbabies were blessed with books from the imagination library. Wonderful program. Some kids do not have access to books and the fact that they start at birth is awesome. It really is an opportunity and a blessing for children who would not otherwise have a single book. Some of my favorite memories with my Momma are of her reading to me.

My Judy Ogle, my best friend since 1st grade, passed away in 2024. She was one of my biggest prayer warriors. She kept my secrets. She never judged me. She always prayed for me and my kids. We lived very similar lives and had some of the same hardships. We have two kids each who share a birthday but on different years. She was my chosen sister. Her name was Kristi. Please keep her loved ones in prayer. I sure do miss her!
