April 15th 2006 my world was changed forever. I came home from work and found my partner of 9 years had lost his fight with cancer. He fought so bravely for his country but lost his life to (B cell non hodgkins) I love and miss him (Todd) each and everyday. We played this song at his funeral. I cry every time i hear it but can't stop playing it. It helps me in so many ways remember him...us and our life together. Thank you Dolly for such a wonderful song.

In April, 2004, I was serving in my 2nd major war in Iraq, when I heard this song for the first time at Balad, Iraq. It was the song played on loud speaker as my brothers and sisters were crying after a memorial service for our fallen brother, Sergeant Jeremiah Holmes.

On March 29, 2004, one of my comrades was killed by a massive command detonated IED placed on the bridge between Ramadi and Fallujah, Anbar Province, Iraq. A few days later in April 2004, there was a memorial service for my dead comrade and this song was played. There were many tears rolling down cheeks and we had only been in Iraq less than 3 weeks at that point. Every time, I hear this song, my face changes.
