I'm lucky my parents put up with me and my Dolly Parton music. This time last year I couldn't have cared less about whether Dolly had a good voice or not...then I saw her the week she mentored the contestants on AI and decided to check her out on KZbin...now I own 5 of her CDS (w/3 more on the way),have 3 movies she was in and have been to a live concert...so I'm way past hooked on Dolly...haha.

Dolly is the most caring famous person i know of and she is not at all selfish when she gives away money n other things we the public do not hear much about these things because she is more interested in giving than the publicity she gets from doing charitable work. She do not give to charity because she wants to r have to but because she sees giving as a good thing to do. I love her so much n will not allow anyone to tarnish her good name.

Yellow roses are my favorite too. I got a dozens roses plus one on my 11th anniversary. The next anniversary came and there were no roses delivered ghat day. My little girl ask, ask she was roller skating around the island in the kitchen, moma why didn't you get roses this year? I had to look away as tears filled my eyes and streamed down my face. I said, I don't know baby. But, I did know why. I had known for awhile. I quickly wiped my face and composed my self and told her come play a song for me on the piano. She has always been moma's girl. She's all grown up and married now & knows about the yellow roses I didn't receive that day. I gave her life, she gave me a reason to live. 💛
