As far as I know, Elvis never sang at the Opry. He wanted to, but whoever was in charge wouldn't let him. Years later they invited him, but he told them no because they refused him the 1st time. That's what I heard on a tv special movie a long time ago. I should goggle it to see if this is true. Lol
