❤️❤️We all love Dolly in our family but my son holds her up in a special light. When he was almost 2, he started getting books from her library club every month until he turned 5. He’s an avid reader and is reading upper elementary books in 1st grade. He always believed Dolly was personally sending him the books. Now he understands it’s Dolly’s organization but he will not give his books from Dolly away, even though he’s far past their level. They have sentimental value and I’m glad he cherishes them❤️ Dolly is one special lady!❤️❤️❤️

The royalties she earned from Whitney Houston’s _I Will Always Love You_ in 1992 were used by her to give to the Black communty in Nashville by buying a complex there.
