Shooting Dolly was a challenge: my first shots were disappointing when I used normal automatic camera settings to photograph Dolly's spotlighted white outfit against a dark background. I initially got horribly overexposed images. I had to switch to manual settings otherwise she would have continued to appear blown out on all of my photos. So, any camera that allows you to use manual settings for exposure--whether your cell phone or regular camera--will enable you to get good photos. My photos represent a lot of trial and error shots. I was learning as I was shooting.
