I understand these locomotives are all original, but would love to see the owners do a little exhaust and firebox work. That would clean up the smoke, make the engine more efficient, and prolong the flue life.

Thats accually WP&Y 71's builders plate...70's broke sometime in 2004.

288jh I wish they would recast 70s to say 1938 many people do not know about 71 and that would be just as original as 71s

They actually did recast it in (I think) maybe 2019. It looks way better.
