Woow this is a good one, I am a student urban planner, here in kenyatta university and I love the way this city is planned, the idea of urban design principles applied here is so amazing, I like the way the city image is coming out clearly and that reflects to the theories I'm learning in class, I have also seen that the zoning has been done with smartness and seems like there was a well informed decision-making But I'm worried about the streets, I don't know what's the minimum width of the major roads, I think in future more wide roads and streets will be needed because population will increase and in the future almost everyone will own a car, unless there is a policy or some restrictions to control the number of cars I can see there will be a problem of congestion and traffic

It looks good except, there is a problem. This kind of development belongs in the semi-arid regions. They built a town on agricultural land. We have the same problem in the Rift Valley with animal farms on agricultural land. Industry and animals should be confined to the semi-arid areas with food and water shipped in for them. Kenya has very little arable land that should be used for farming. Further, this area is next door to Nairobi and will be a magnet for house-help and similar jobs that come with slums in an already congested Nairobi vicinity. I noted that you mentioned Fontana, California. Fontana is a desert and is similar to Kenyan semi-arid areas. I have lived close to Fontana in Chino, where industry and animals belong.
