Orcas attack dolphins differently than sharks. They usually chase the dolphins until they get really tired. Then they go in for the kill.

The same with all cetaceans. All whales (including dolphins) have to surface so orcas can chase them. Sharks can dive far deeper and stay submerged so orcas have to overpower them quickly if not the sharks can easily escape.

Orca are actually quite agile in short spurts. They can reach speeds of up to 50km per hour on a straight line. Their tactic isn't about being faster but planning a successful hunt by preventing an escape route for the quicker prey to escape from. As you can see the orcas were able to herd them into a tight cove which means the dolphins are helpless or would have to take huge risks of escaping. This is how the orcas get the upper hand. You don't need to be faster, just more clever.
