First time I went to a stranger’s apartment to buy something from them second-hand, I genuinely prepared for if they kidnapped/killed me. I left a note in my room on my desk specifying all the information I had on the person I intended to meet, when and where we were meeting etc. in case I went missing and turned on tracking on my phone (I also wrote that in the note). I also think I attached paper clips to my clothes where it was easily accessible so I could pick a lock or something (paper clips are useful!) if necessary. I wasn’t worried or anything and didn’t think anything would happen- I just knew I’d be annoyed at myself if something did happen and I hadn’t bothered to prepare. I realise now that this was pretty extra tho....
