Dom's saying he didn't know he got dropped is interesting. I don't think people understand how disorentating fighting can be. I remember one of the first few times I wrestled in High School I vividly remember hearing my coaches SCREAMING at me to do something and I looked up to see them and they were upside down. I didn't even know what way was up I was so disorentated.

I love Dom but his comments about Cormier speaks for itself, I don't think the media "ran with it." What he said was straight up rude and unprofessional, nobody needed to put a twist on it to make it a story. He also was clearly taking a jab at Keith Peterson by praising Mark Goddard for not stopping the fight after he was dropped.

DC has lots of energy but is a bit of a slacker if unchecked. I think the combination of Cruz's public criticism and Cormier's pride will produce a much better DC commentary in the coming years. Even the accusations of favoritism that got him pulled from an event recently will pay dividends in the future. If not, we can all look back and say that we knew all along that DC was just there whoohoos and giggles.

I have to seriously agree with Dominic Cruz here. I after overcoming my substance abuse addictions and learning to deal with my anxiety and depression. I have learned to try and live by the exact Moto's Cruz is saying. That we don't fully understand anything, and so many of us don't know how to hold space with our own self when there is nothing to do so finding peace with yourself in nothingness is actually a huge skill that some never find comfort in. Trying not to let jealousy, hate, ignorance in thinking you know everything or are completely right about something, instead just finding peace in the unknown, finding beauty in the imperfections and almost letting your perspective find perfection within imperfection. Idk it's confusing but just contentment and perspective, patience, understanding, flexibility, willingness to help and work with others is just so important and trusting that even if we don't know anything that everything will be okay anyways if we go about life with the right perspective and don't get caught up on little meaningless stuff at the end of the day. I really like where Cruz mindset is. He must be looking at Nature as a guide because for me that's what helped me. Going on hikes in the woods here in Oregon. Really helped me over come my addictions and issues and dealing with harshness of life but still finding beauty and never losing hope in that the universe is amazing no matter what. Perspective is key. The little things really matter so much more then we realize sometimes. I too just had ACL replacement surgery that didn't heal well so I can't skateboard or run and jump like I always have been able too but I'm finding ways to stay at peace even with these hurdles. It's all about perspective and just finding ways to keep your inner childlike curiosity about the world alive really helps. It makes any negative become a thing you can convert into a positive or fuel for creativity if you just find the right Perspective.
