She was only about 9 when the plague attacked so coming home at the age of 17-18 years old would make it hard to remember a place pre-apocalypse, but I maybe wrong. I can see why they cut it from both a logical and storytelling standpoint. Clementine has no reason to return home and even if she wanted to, she is hundreds of miles away from Atlanta with no feasible way to travel. (It's never stated where the school is but from her surroundings and nomadic life, she is somewhere along the Ohio River)

The messages on the phone where she got to hear her mother and father’s probably last moments, and sheer panic as they beg her to call 911 and to stay safe until they at some point return home. As a game dev/designer (not for telltale, or skybound, I wish...... ) It would make sense for the story to go on the way it ended. As they had to take walks from S1 from Georgia to up north where they are.. (Idk the place after richmond for Ericsen school). It'll take a LOOONG time for clem in her position to get back. and even if she's alright, it'll take ages without proper transport to get there... Clem might likely stay at school even if everyone dies. So, that's a reason as to why the house could be scrapped. With the flashback, I'd agree if its the parents and her babysitter for clem to have a dream of. Like, is Clem THAT disappointed with her parents that she's only ever dreaming of a dude who she met for like a month or 3? Sure, we all know what Lee mans for Clem and us, but always dreaming of him and not her parents makes me wonder (Honestly, the parents was the reason why clem ran away with the creepy dude in season 1.. smh). Missed opportunity for Telltale to have a parent flashback and a normal day in the life of clem before walkers would have made more emotion and impact

Technically creepy dude lied to her claiming he has her parents and put the idea in Clem’s head that lee would stop her plus she was nine and naive so she would be easily manipulated at that age .

The memories would be TOO MUCH to handle... And I ain't talking about Clem. Returning to the place she/We met Lee and vice versa. Where she subconsciously accepted that her parents were probably dead. Being able to hear the last three answer messages on the phone (if there is still power) Imagine what the police car and dead officer look like now in the Woods after all this time. I'm sad all over again 😢😢

I feel flattered that they actually wanted to take Clem back to her house. I legit wanted that to happen when I started up The Final Season. The phrase "Take Us Back" would've made more sense

I have so many things to say imagine if clem took aj to her house and then she said this is where i met my best friend and if she took aj there and her and aj could see little clem and lee talking through the windoe with the walkie talkies also could you imagine if she went back and sandra was still there on tge floor and she went ro savannah found lees body and thwn buried it next to her tree house and then his soul goes out of the decading body and clem and aj can see lee as a soul but they see hime propaly and thay csn hear him and feel him that would be epic

I would've liked if clem and the group went to Savannah and clem opend the store where she dragged Lee in and we saw Lee's corpse rotten away or Walker Lee

Imagine this, Clem takes aj back and says something along the line of “aj this is where it all started for me” “and right over there is where I met Lee” Points to the doorway and starts bawling. 😭

I'm shocked you don't talk about the show, as we have no idea when we will have a new Walking dead game. As for why they didn't show the house, maybe they couldn't think of a reason for Clem to head back to her old home.

Imagine instead of the ranch,we got to see Clem meeting Lee,from Clems perspective,seeing him and running to the tree house,sees Lee get in the house seeing Lee,geting down from the tree ang giving llee the hammer,it would have been cool

Maybe they abandoned it so that they could ensure Clementine having a happy ending. But here's how I think it would go down. After returning to Ericson's, AJ shows up, that whole thing is the same. All the way up to Clem's final conversation with AJ. After that Clementine then tells AJ that she plans to go home and hopes she can bring everyone, then has AJ go out to tell everyone. This is when you decide who you want to come with you. Hell, AJ can tell nobody if you wish to. Either way whoever you tell, you have to convince to come with you. You'd tell Violet that Clem doesn't want to keep going without her, you'd tell Louis that you're almost certain they can find a piano for him. You tell Willy that Mitch would want him to be safe, and safety is in numbers. Those are a few examples, but anyway, whoever you convince, they end up leaving Ericson's with you. Of course the only non optional one is Rosie. You have to take the dog because yes lol. The group then sets off, we then cut to the freeway from episode 1, the group sees where the car crashed and slide down the slope, the car still being there and everything. Same with the cop's body. Then they follow the same path Lee did, maybe even climbing over the same fence too. Then they arrive. You then can decide if you want to stay and repair the place or not. Season 4 then ends with either the group hanging out in Clem's house, or them on the road again, leaving the perfect opportunity for a season 5.

I would love this but the problem is that there’s walkers everywhere in savanah and her hometown but maybe they cleared out idk and the house is too damaged by the looks of it

You can definitely tell somebody looted her house and I noticed how her tree house ladder as two broken steps but the one on top. Is still stable maybe some body went up the tree house to hide a kid maybe so he or she can hide from the walkers and is probably up either still alive or dead

This would’ve been so much better than the mccaroll ranch flashback. Although me being a hardcore fan was kinda glad to finally see the ranch as we were all theorising about it forever. But narratively it served no purpose. If that time was used for seeing clems house again. It would have made as much sense as the ranch flashback and would’ve related to a lot more players. Lots of casual players would have remembered clems house. Next to none would’ve remembered the 2 times mcarrol ranch was mentioned in season 3. It just would’ve made more sense

I have a good escene in mind imagine If Louis AJ and Clementine decided to go to Atlanta and they go back traveling , on the Highway in that 70" Camaro from the beggining of the final season (If it wasn't never wrecked) and AJ founds a tape under the seat and he puts the tape and 1979 by the smashing pumpkins plays out , and while the song plays we have a transission of the locations of the past seasons Carver's old camp , savanna , Pharmacy the Motel then the gas station from 400 days and we see the buildings of Atlanta in the horizon clem takes a highway ramp to her old neighbourhood , and she and company enters to the house .
