I've subscribed. Thanks for the follow! 🥰 I'm so honored. I love your channel and your commitment to supporting the the work of thinking in Africa. We have been battered in Africa to not think and to just do. The title of your video reminded me of the article by Tanzanian scholar Issa Shivji in which he says that Africans are told by the West "Just act, don't think, and we'll fund both!" I enjoyed your video. The illustrations you gave were better than mine 😊.

New subscriber here! I think you are achieving the goal of your channel - you break down things very clearly and 'simply'. I go back to my mind which I think is what bring me back here each time. Looking forward to more videos.

The episode reminded of two tweets I read not too long ago, both by Lydia Namubiru “The world is run by vain old men who would rather commit mass murder than lose the arguments of their youth.” and “Reading old newspaper articles makes you actually quite bored with human beings. We are always on the same old bullshit but each generation brings a cartoonish righteousness to parroting its ancestors.” Thanks Joel!
