@@TASconfidential people pleasing is also very deceitful and manipulative. You're ONLY behaving a certain way to intact a specific response from others most of the time you wouldn't naturally behave like that if you didn't care to sway the opinion of others. Then you also lie to yourself about being the victim in the situation when in actuality no one forced you to people please. Living life believing you're the victim cripples you in sooo many ways because you relinquish all your power to actually self improve. I’ve known a lot of people-pleasing, pickmeishas all of my life… both female and male versions…. Basically suckers and walking doormats who allow themselves to be used and drained by others. I’ll tell you all this…. The only good thing that a pickmeisha gets is a packed funeral. All of the people who used you and drained you and took advantage of your kindness will speak of how “selfless” and caring you were and how you sacrificed your own life to benefit others. Just remember that they are still alive, and you won’t be at the funeral to see it!!!

Shera, thankfully I am fresh out of pickmeshia mentality after watching your videos & other feminine channels. I would like to open a conversation about something very important as to why so many women are pickmeshias (on top of what you usually say). It has to do with romance novels, movies and TV shows. They ruined us women SO bad in almost every aspect of life. Looking back, I truly belive romance was invented to make women lower their guard and standards. What I mean by "romance" is sacrificing yourself, family, hobbies, friends, education, and health for a man. To let him dare sleep with you just becuase he said a few pretty words, and held the door for you while looking deeply in your eyes. These romance dramas programmed us women that the less we accept & the more we suffer for our man = the more geninue and pure our love is.. and vise versa. It taught us that accepting less is heroic and good. While wanting material things such as security and a good life is selfish, shallow and evil. Bob the builder girls are praised in these movies and they are always the "different girl" not the "basic b*tch" becuase she has such a nice pErSoNaLiTy while pretty girls that are kept are dumb and mean. Growing up with this media effs you up as a woman. There is another thing, that heros in movies are ALWAYS handsome men and villains are unattractive men. This subconsciously makes us associate handsome men = good providers, protective, heroic, not selfish, loyal, loving.. Etc because in movies, they have all those positive characteristics. And we can't deal with unattractive men because subconsciously we associate them with bad people/criminals. Don't even get me started on romantic music.. It's all pickmeshias ideology pumped out and it makes me want to puke listening to it. Lol "unconditional love" "ride or die" "Die for you"... HA! It's sick that our grandmothers knew most of the game, yet they didn't pass it down? It's okay to tell your daughter to have her own money & education. But it's NOT okay to encourage her to support her husband financially and to make her existence revolve around pleasing him. Anyways, modern dramas - specifically kdramas - that play to the female fantasy (you can be unkempt and STILL get the hottest & richest, young guy to fall for you and be loyal just cause your pErSoNaLiTy is great) are a load of misleading junk. Those male characters are written for what women fantaizes about, not for portraying how men actually are. Because if they did portray men accurately, they would go bankrupt. Lol. I was so brainwashed that I actually believed men approached women for "love" and not for sex. I thought men loved like how women love. Honestly, I feel scammed, hurt and betrayed... betrayed by the older women in my family, the media and society. I knew there was something untrue about the representation of men in romance, but I didn't know where or how. It's like I had hands covering my eyes and after the grace of God, you removed them Shera. I can't stand these romance dramas & music anymore. I swear I even witnessed older women that know the game, watch as younger women dig their own grave and say or do nothing about it. They are selfish and resentful that they figured out the game late, and don't want girls in their prime to know... I'm planning to tell my younger sister soon. So I hope we women give awareness to younger women, and specifically teenage girls that what they consume, isn't reality. Men use pretty words it to fish for young, naive women so they can use, abuse and discard them when they are older. P. S Courting a woman is NOT the same as romance. In romance, 99% of the time the woman sacrifices something in the name of "love". In courting, the woman *recieves* and doesn't sacrifice anything for the man except her relationship status. Thank you for reading until the end.

As cringeworthy as some of the stuff I hear on this channel is, I have to give respect where it's due. I'm an Engineering Lead. I've always been a high achiever, but when I met the woman I'm dating now (she's very good with her finances and does well herself), it pushed me to work harder, move smarter, and take more risks. I make *a lot* more money now than I did before I met her, even though I had already hit six-figures (in a LCOL area). If you're a high-quality women, you must put men through the ringer to see what he's made of, and that will let you know what kind of life you're about to have. You must understand what we as men think a high-quality woman is. A woman can truly bring the best out of a man, but it's usually that a man doesn't know what he's capable of until he's put under pressure to perform (or provide). It's also important that he's in an environment of upward mobility though, because working your life away with a laborious 2nd job just to bring in an extra $10/$20k a year is distressing and will likely result in resentment towards you. Happy hunting lades!

how do i inspire my partner to step up? when i had a good career, my ex husband resented me and became more lazy and entitled. now, i don't work and am on a sabbatical. i was hoping my 2 year boyfriend would step up and help me find a property and start a business...but he's busy with his low paying, dead end, but fun and entertaining job. so when i was a busy career woman, my ex didn't step up and now that i'm not working and asked my boyfriend to help me find a property for a business he also would not step up.
@gigijanae14602 жыл бұрын
Your version of a “high quality woman” is a woman who slaves away cooking and cleaning, and paying half the bills just to prove how much of a good innocent wife she is to a man who doesn’t even value that. I’ll pass. I’ll take advice from a hypergamous woman before I take advice from any man.
@lunkee69722 жыл бұрын
@@taghazoutmoon5031 your boyfriend right now does not have any desire to level up. His job is fun so why would he leave if he doesn’t want to? He needs to find a job of equal level but higher pay within the year. If he doesn’t, leave him. He is clearly not providing you with what you want. Also, don’t do this “boyfriend” thing. I needed to hear this. Thank you Shera. I've been watching your videos for weeks and I really learned a lot. My long-distance dusty ex cheated on me for someone lesser than me and that woman never hesitated to always insult me in social media. He was her ex and they remained as friends for years so I was cool with that. However, she kept creating multiple dummy accounts to stalk me and I blocked them all. I just knew she's really insecure towards me because I'm much more beautiful, smarter, and fashionable than her. My ex probably used her for sex but it's not my business anymore, at least my v-card remains and I know I'm still valuable as a woman. I did not lose anything, aside from a draining man and a headache. Even after we broke up and last week, he kept on messaging me and I feel so disgusted. I told him that after a month we broke up, around 9 guys asked me for a date and he was surprised. I rejected those dates anyway because I followed your advice not to deal with non-established man. I won't waste my time. My dad treats me like a princess and I will never allow myself again to stoop so low for a man. I regret being too understanding because they had the guts to disrespect me. I never called his ex out. I'm not going to respond to her silly cat fight because it's not classy. I just permanently blocked them all in social media because all I feel right now is pure disgust. Luckily, I started to watch your videos while I'm still young. I'm 22 and studying at university.

This is true on the marriage thing. I learned this. Thankfully I had family on my side and he actually did what he said he would, he ❤'d me. Word to the wise, don't take chances, most stories aren't like mine.🤷🏾♀️

The ladies on the basketball wives reality tv are technically pick me chics because they use sex as a tool to get the players. These women have never been on a date but they are after the bag. The issue is they have no emotional connection to the men and the relationship is volatile and ends because of the lack of emotional maturity from both parties who agree to jump start a relationship because of sex. Sex based relationships are distracting and hinders people from getting to know each other and actually connecting to your potential partner while developing emotional maturity. These relationships fizzle out quickly! It’s kinda sad if you think about it. There’s nothing like courtships because they are about respect and getting to know someone which cost nothing. There’s nothing like love. Everyone wants to be loved.

it is not true that the law is on your side. it depends on where you are. where I live, common law is 3 years co-habitation....before that 3 year mark you can be kicked out with NO notice, as you are legally considered an unwelcome guest (unless your name is on the lease or deed etc)
