I wanted to get into lightsaber 'fencing' into tournament level. It was a better way of practicing 'Kendoka' medium hilt. I, however, know that Saberforge has too many knobs and are now disqualified from being legal. However, I will keep my hilt and blade for personal use.

The saber community, much like the world, has COMPLETELY changed in the last couple of years. More so than ever before the night is dark and full of terrors. It's best to listen to the community, do a small amount of research, and then make a conscientious decision for your first saber purchase. Please use the resources that Lando has generated. @@legobattledroid4110 That's if you can get one from Sabertrio, since they have short sales and usually are out of stock. BUT, I do agree about Ultimate Works, via The Pach Store are some quality hilts and I prefer the removable Chassis system that TPS uses, so they can be swapped between the hilts, which lowers overall cost, instead of the in hilt system that most companies use which makes the prices of their hilts much more expensive because the electronics are built for every hilt.

I sadly had a bad experience with Darkwolf Sabers. I got a saber on the 27th of December and the speaker broke on the 29th. I emailed the guy and he took days to respond. I was able to send my saber back for a new one and it worked fine for a while but it now is having the same issue. Sound cutting out randomly when swinging. I don’t duel with the saber, I just swing it around from time to time.

I decided to buy my first saber a week ago. Ive been a huge star wars fan my whole life and always played as a kid with the classic plastic sabers we all used to have. Until last week, I had never thought there was such a huge community around lightsabers and the HUGE improvements the products have gotten since what I last remembered of them from my 90s plastic sabers. I saw all these smooth swing sounds that completely captivated me and made me fall in love with neopixel sabers. I had quite a bit of savings and decided to do a crap ton of research in order to get just one, but a very good lightsaber replica. I ended up deciding myself towards Sabertrio, your 1h 20 min video about the company was huge towards making my decision. I just wanted to say thank you for all your great informative content and I encourage everyone to do a minimum of research before getting ripped off like u say in this video. Basically whenever I got on the lightsaber sub reddit I spent about 20 minutes replying to people asking "is *insert ransom LGT reseller here* legit?". I should just keep a reply in my notes to copy and paste. 9 times out of 10 I just explain what LGT is and direct them to a local quality reseller, and they are so thankful. If I save one person for spending a stupid amount of money for a saber that's supposed to cost $100, it's worth it!

Well, I had bought from UltraSabers for my first saber over a year ago, and it was an alright experience. Could have been better, but it was far from horrible. Altho, I cut most of the features specifically to get the cheapest I could, so maybe that's why. I bought from SaberForge for my 2nd, and it was phenomenal. I plan to buy one from either CrimsonDawn or KyberLight next, which I've heard a *lot* of good about both.

So often people get ripped off by garbage businesses and their owners because they don’t do the research and the ones selling whatever product (because it’s not just lightsabers) don’t care about anything but the almighty dollar. Crimson dawn and dark wolf sabers are good legit companies. Living in the UK I gone with padawan outpost and saber armory, after I got stung by Larsaberus on amazon 😕. Wished I'd done alot of research before buying. Lesson learned, now I'm just trying to get the word out that larsaberus sell crap sabers, board burnt out because of a dodgy battery, no chasis in the hilt.

In 2003 I saw a commercial on the science channel for a very realistic sounding and looking saber by master replicas. At the time I think it was top technology. I didn’t consider that there was an entire saber community. 12 years later at my local comic con there was a vendor with a very long line of people waiting to buy an ultra saber. Yes, I did no research because I didn’t think anything of it. I paid a lot for a good looking and comfortable saber, with outdated technology. However, I have since discovered the saber universe and most of its inns and outs. I upgraded my US and MR with top-tier technology, and now I love them.

well nice video bro, so i just bought a saber from LGT Store in aliexpress, and bro they were so GOOD anwsered all my questions they left me with no doubts left. what i mean is i did my research and it took me almost 3 YEARS to buy my first lightsaber, so i think the main problem is not about ppl re-selling sabers because if u just search for it u will endup realising the other "brands" are tottaly crap so it's all about Anxiety, our whole society is living in a Anxiety chamber, where u "NEED" everything and RIGHT NOW!!! I just got a saber from dark wolf and after about an hour of use it randomly stopped working and wouldn’t charge. We shipped it back to him to fix and he tried to make us pay for shipping. Eventually he agreed to pay for it and we shipped it back. He fixed and after I got it back after about another 30 minutes of use it was broken again. He still hasn’t given us the money for shipping. I’m very disappointed in his customer service.

I know this might go against many saber collectors opinions but I am just now starting out collecting lightsabers and I want a decent proffie neo pixel (with smooth swing if possible) saber around $300 if that’s exists. Lando usually releases an update video but he's been inactive for almost a year now. TXQ has a much better reputation compared to years past. Many companies are selling both LGT and TXQ sabers now. Just have to research who you're buying from. Hope this helps

Hey, I unplugged my Neopixel lightsaber earlier, it didn’t charge. The USB port was super hot and I unplugged the cable from the USB. The inside of the cable looked melted almost, inside the metal part, I tried some other cables that were the same, after I realized the instructions said to try and only use the cable it came with, but I tried the others, none worked, my saber won’t power on while being plugged in or not, after taking about, and putting back in the rechargeable battery. I was going to buy a new cable soon from the saber website. Do you think I ruined something in my lightsaber?? Please let me know and keep up the great content

Unfortunately I bought a rgb saber from ultrasabers back in 2018 after I went to a party one time. My sisters friends brother had a lightsaber and while I was drunk out of my mind I was curious about the lightsaber he had and asked him where he got it. He said ultrasabers. I always wanted to get a realistic lightsaber for a while and seeing that sealed the deal for me. Unfortunately it was an impulse buy and I diddnt even do the proper research into a lightsaber I just knew I wanted one. I spent over $600 and was exited and when I got it the blade was bent. I sawed it off to make it shorter. The battery and speaker is loose and is wrapped in electrical tape and is just bad all around. It's a crystal board so I guess it's kinda like a proffie but I don't think proffies existed when I got mine or it's very new at the time. Spent a good while messing around with fonts and colors I have a few I really like. A year or 2 in, I start thinking back on it and I really did regret my purchase because the quality was shit along with what I found out about the company and their practices. Going on 5 years now I want to get another saber but I want to be as careful as possible about getting a new one and from what company. Sorry for the long story, I just wanted to share

Is Electrum Sabercrafts a good company. I heard a lot about it being good but i ain't too sure

I bought from a company called Neo sabers there some star wars long trusted youtubers that talked about them and reviwed their stuff possitivelly they have a bunch of possitive review a few bad reviews. I dont see it in your list..Is it because yout think they are bad or because you have not heared of them??? Their price seems very good a lot of saber with neopixel blade under 200 bucks...they seems to have fast delivery and they respond to email because i talked 2-3 times to their customer services and had quick response in less than 48 hours.

I did that once, i bought some a lightsaber from some random company, it was strong and all, but the sound was terrible

That also happens on KZbin, influencers get free products to promote, and get a fee or money from the company, and not just lasers, so how can you trust even you tube reviews?
