The 2008 to 2014 was a good one. as you can see from the video we have that body style. No problem with it. Mine ended up getting lemon law by the second owner who was a lawyer. Sorry burn me one and we are done. Nissan joined Honda as brands that I will never owned again. We switched to Hyundai I am on my second SUV and way less issues. The thing that grind my gears is the you are not important treatment from the manufacturer and the dealers.

sorry to hear you've had these problems, i have a 14 Rogue S, problems i've had over the years are as follows; at 15k clicking noise coming from the engine compartment, dealer said it was the fuel pressure valve doing that and did not need replacement, i insisted and they replaced it, at 25k i lost the heater, dealer replaced the thermostat which had a defect, at 60k creaking noise coming from the front suspension, dealer greased the top of the front springs and that resolved it..... it hasn't come back, at 70k rear brakes were worn but it was no longer under warranty, i paid to have them replaced. At 110k i noticed rust spots all over the roof and inside the driver's door jam, Nissan would not cover it because it wasn't perforated, i had the roof and the jam painted, i'm now looking for other rogue owners with the same issue...none found so far. it now has 130k and yes i have the clunking noise when i back up and brake(been doing it for years), i had other cars do that in the past and its usually the brake pads moving within their calipers, had the brakes serviced twice now and no issues reported despite the clunking, i know all those issues sound bad but i still believe its a good car and plan to keep it another 5 years, i go on long distance trips every summer and i still trust it to do so trouble free.

Glad I found your post. We bought a new Nissan Rogue SV loaded. We won't use the navigation as it gets us lost more than to our destination. Have told them every time it's gone back. They said we had to update it at $100 +. We took it on vacation the day after we bought it and it got us lost in Buffalo New York on the way to Canada. We filed with Nissan arbitration and won. They updated it for free. Still didn't help. The car has Terrible highway wind noise. They can't figure it out. Reading about other owners having this issue some who live in Canada said the addition of a bug deflector helps. Nissan makes a genuine Nissan deflector but it is not sold in the US ? On a trip to Niagara Falls Canada we stopped at a Nissan dealer on the Queens highway. They installed the deflector for $80 US. Even put clear 3M body wrap under it to avoid rust. Said as we paid part is warrantied 1 year but US Nissan dealers won't honor it ? It helped, but didn't eliminate the issue. Our Rogue also eats tires. We're on our 3rd set at 48,000 miles. Wear even and are rotated every other oil change or 6,000 miles. Was told we had to have CVT fluid changed at 40,000 miles. $570 for Genuine Nissan but Nissan dealer recommends BG product change which is what they use for $425. My 53 year old wife drives this car so I know it's babied. The chrome pieces are tarnished and paint chips way to easy. This was our first and last Nissan product. And I haven't even gotten into all the warranty work that has been done. Warranty is up Sept. 2018 and it's getting traded.
