I just graduated with a degree in video and audio production. DaVinci is so good, that all of the editing classes I took required us to learn it. They even offered a class to get all the certifications. Not once in my entire college career did I edit a project with Premiere.

I wholeheartedly recommend Davinci Resolve, it literally kickstarted my interest in video editing! I still use it to this day, and it's far more than enough for anything I need to do. It also runs well on low-end hardware (I have an Intel 6th gen U-Series chip with no dGPU) provided you stick with 1080p and are patient.

I have DaVinci Reslove.. It's kinda like Premiere Pro. It has the distortion feature to make the earrape effect. and has effects and tools. Now I can make YTPs with it for the rest of my life like Yellower. Also the version of the software I have is DaVinci Resolve (version 18.6).

DaVinci is free and AMAZING. You need a decent computer to run it but it is a 100% professional video editor. The company gives it out for free literally just to promote their brand of cameras and studio equipment. And from what I heard, it is far easier to learn and far less buggy than Premiere.

Man thanks I didn’t even know this existed! I ran into SOOOOOO many issues just trying to launch the Adobe Creative Cloud on a free trial. So many bugs it wasn’t worth my time. This looks awesome though!

As an editor, I do believe that DaVinci is a very strong contender to premier pro. This isn't just some like Ohio free alternative to premiere. It's a very powerful software, with very efficient internals, and a seamless workflow that blends all stages of making a video near perfectly (audio, assembly, vfx) If I didn't already have multiple years of Adobe under my belt I honestly likely would've chosen it instead. (It wasn't really allat back then, mainly just a color correction tool) And it's free lol... If you're new to editing, please don't use premiere 😭😭🙏

@@youknowho4439 Dont know if its bug but most of the weird behaviour on big programs or games is because of lack of avalable RAM. I start such a big program mostly after a recent computer restart. Restarting computer clears the RAM instantly. I have only 16 GB of RAM and after few hours of chrome internet surfing it seems it goes full RAM and i have a RAM meter on desktop showing me how much available RAM i have and i do a computer restart if it needs. If After Effects is cracked then i suggest searching for another version and install it but uninstall the previous version with an uninstaller such as Revo Uninstaller Pro, it searches for leftover registries and deletes them. Adober products are installing everywhere :))) so an uninstaller is recommended.

fun fact, Davinci resolve is free, but its got limitations on it like no videos above 1080 for free users, and they can do this because Black magic's main source of profits come from it's hardware, like the blackmagic pocket series of cameras, looks like a regurlar dslr, but its built for video and can do unlimited 4k recording as long as you have the proper storage media.

I already know this one.... Da Vinci is one of the best free software period. Powerful, good UI, does pretty much everything you need, and 3rd party development. You really only need to pay if you want 4(?)-8k exports, over 60fps, and some high end features. Also it's $300 for a one-time purchase, so there's no cloud/internet connection needed and no monthly payments. Black magic also makes great hardware(from what I've heard, never used it myself) and are just an all around decent company as far as their pricing/quality
