I’ve used this for a friend and thought its additional bulk (including the extra battery handle) was an improvement…sometimes a camera can be too small. That said, not keen on the ‘recording on a stick’, but that’s likely subjective. Just prefer a camera body. This seems to produce some great results!

I "have" been using Pocket 2; it works like a charm when recording while walking and during the early morning in the winter. Then I switched over to GoPro 11 but still using Pocket 2 once in a while because I like the mic, very clear indeed. I plan to get this Pocket 3, but I am waiting a bit longer to see reviews regarding low-light and more vlogging samples. Good job anyway!

Being too light weight is a double edge sword for gimbal.

It looks good and i might buy one. but It should come with a magnetic lens cover. It should also have a tripod mount and usbc port without having to ad the attachment. And the battery should be removable. They should also have a magnetic mount on it like the action 4 so it can just magnify to the little tripod. Also i hope this sensor goes into the next action 5.

Absolutely love the concept but I'll stick with my S22 on a 40 dollar used Homen gimbal and try to get the most out of it for the time being. The lack of optical zoom is the killer. Just give me a good 3x zoom (from the 20mm width and I'd be happy).

The mounting system for this camera is so obviously flawed I don't even know how it got off the drawing board. Especially since dji already revolutionized the action camera mounting system 3 years ago. Why tf would anyone want to use a plug to use a screw mount for a camera that's supposed to be small. They should have just put the damn usbc on the back and put the magnetic quick release on the bottom with the 1/4 20 hole in the middle. Furthermore, the flip screen is cool but one drop while it's open and it's done for.

yeah I was thinking about that too. I haven't bought a dji pocket camera before so I was looking into this one. Also, maybe I am so used to recording from my iPhone, because only 2 and a half ish hours of battery life actually concerns me 😅

The footage is actually a lot worse than people make out. Well, compared to the Nikon Z30 anyway.

The lightweight camera with small footprint, clear and stable video, the nice low light shooting blinded me for some time - but then I realised that as a family vacation shooter this camera is USELESS if it does not offer OPTION of infinite focus. If I cannot get my subject and the surroundings ALL in focus, then that defeats the whole concept of vacation shooting - the bokeh effect (background blurring) is a massive hindrance than of benefit. Maybe if you are showcasing a product or person. Or trying cinematic storytelling - you may find it useful. But for millions of simple vacationers like me - who just desired crisp super stable video while travelling, taking in all of the surroundings - this lack of universal focus (fixed aperture and focal length) is a deal breaker. Lucky I stopped just short of making payment for it.
