❌ SYSTEM FAILURE - You are trying to apply logic ❌ I doubt it's the "ladies" that sent her into a tailspin. She probably (both of them actually) tried to say something about it out of their self-aggrandizing perception of themselves and need to control how people address them, yeah. But imho she didn't expect any resistance, let alone backlash, and got her nose out of joint by the gay guy who just didn't have the patience for this shit and they can't handle 1) anyone who resist them and, worse, those who bite back and 2) being scolded by someone probably older and with no tolerance for fragile and entitled kids (plus as a bartender, he's most likely dealt with many WTFs). This screams authority issues (well, on top of their major egos, mental stuff that clearly needs to be addressed and overall Gen Z Tiktoker & Kweer entitlement, obviously)

@StarLuna787 I wish they would just use entirely different lables for sexuality for none binary people. I saw I think trixic being used, but it didnt seem to take off. I would be happy if they used trixic, or any soecial little lable they wnated to use. It would make sense and help seperate them from the regular binary people.

As an autistic adult it sucks because so many people misappropriate the vocabulary that allowed me to communicate needs and boundaries (for both myself and others towards me). And that's if they take my professional diagnosis seriously at all. The abuse of therapy talk is one of the worst developments on social media. I know that times are tough and a lot of people do not have access to adequate mental health care, but that doesn't change the fact that those words MEAN something and abusing them only hurt marginalized people. Self-centeredness is a hell of a thing.

But I DONT love them BECAUSE they are gay. The thing is - I don’t think people should be judged or “celebrated” for their sexuality. I think it should be about them as a person. Their character. Laughing and joking and caring for eachother. Celebrating our happiness and achievements, helping eachother through hard times. NOT celebrating or reducing anyone to their sexuality. Like…what the hell? The whole “celebrate queer people and stay in our bubble away from the horrible straight people” mentality is just surprising. It’s limiting. What that looks like instead is narcissistic injury. Unfortunately it seems a lot of people in that 'activist space' like to self-diagnose themselves as being on the spectrum because it lets them get away with even more bad self-centered behaviour, and another thing to shout about for attention. @@melissamurray8307 What really bothered me was the way these people dictated how we could define ourselves according to what they perceived as offensive. It became impossible to describe some of our symptoms, if they didn't fit in with their vision of autism, or rather their appropriation of it to fit in with their own problems. We couldn't even quote the DSM, because they felt it discriminated against "self-diagnosed autistic people" who didn't have the symptoms listed. They often talk about autism as a simple personality trait, but don't hesitate to call anyone who disagrees with them a validist. I'm not talking, of course, about people who have questions and have not yet been diagnosed, for whatever reason. Most of these people are perfectly correct and open to dialogue. Rather, I'm talking about those people who appropriate all the disorders, handicaps and characteristics they can on social networks and show themselves to be aggressive and harmful towards the people actually concerned. They're easy to recognize because they often display all the disorders they think they have alongside their pseudonyms and talk about them at the slightest opportunity, especially to use them as an argument of authority and make people who disagree seem intolerant.

I took him in off the streets 8 months ago and because I speak the truth to him he told me he felt unsafe. I told him he had two weeks to leave. Breaks my heart. Well, they are personal experiences and I don’t make them public, but yes I have gotten in sticky situations because hetero people think I am giving signals that I am most definitely not. Blaire says some dumb sh1t sometimes. (Regardless of the popular “definition,” i use non+binary and ngc interchangeably, and most of the reflection on my identity was done pre-internet days, before all these terms were around) I do get what you’re saying, just that it’s maybe weird to assume that things that get trendy due to the results of internet exposure automatically mean those things are all silly and made-up. Like a lot of things on the internet, they have often been appropriated from the real and complex human experiences of other people.

I really do have two asexual friends. They don't make big stink about it. It's harder for them to have romantic relationships because of it but if someone hits on them in terms that they want to get sexual. They turn them down, just like anyone who is sexually active would. Rarely they would bring up their sexuality and even if they did. They didn't go on social media and start crying that, omg some person hit on me and wouldn't believe or accept that I'm asexual. Cause they know it's a rare type of thing and they both have common sense. XD

As a trans man, I find it to be an interesting challenge for myself getting misgendered (by strangers). Yes, the dysphoria is immediate. But why by how others see me? I still feel like myself, nothing has changed. I'll continue being me and we'll move on with our day. I see it as an opportunity to man the fuck up. Face reality. No one knows you but you. People aren't running around trying to hurt your feelings, they're working, shopping, etc. Let it go and stop focusing on your identity because it's all EGO. You are creating a reality in which you are suffering. The more I know myself, stand tall and face reality... those are little things, don't let it ruin your perception or relationships. The more I grow, the more I see people are generally good and care for others- even if they don't fully understand. I have opened myself up to conversation with everyone because I'm not focused on how they perceive me, just the interaction itself. YOU are tasked with patience and understanding, my friend. And that is a blessing in disguise. Just some thoughts I don't typically have a reason to share. Stay strong!

I'm a female. Your correct definition of female. I experience gender dysphoria as a part of my borderline personality disorder. For me, its episodic sort of like a mania. What I'm sick of is people "disagreeing" that gender dysphoria is a mental illness. I get called a trasphobe and a bigot any time I speak of my lived experience. I often tell people (I have a school aged child and the epidemic of young children confused about gender identity is heartbreaking) that their 12 year old experiencing dysphoria needs mental health care. They act like I am suggesting conversion therapy. How dare I imply there is something wrong when I am living proof that episodic gender dysphoria exists.

I have autism, and meltdowns do not look like that at all. Also they are usually triggered by sensory overwhelm. They typically do not involve hysterics, and this might just be me, but I tend to go mute during a meltdown. And it’s difficult to articulate the trigger. This seems too scripted and convenient.

i don't go mute but i do become incoherent at most only able to repeat a brief statemant. Also during those melt downs strangers are the LAST thing i need.

Oh I start crying in meltdown. But yeah, it's sensory overwhelm or emotional overwhelm. They're just using autism as one more "victim" identity. Bleh.

What I don’t understand is: do these people really believe the whole world revolves around them? Like honestly, I’m mentally ill, several diagnoses, and I still don’t expect people to watch out and take care of me all the time. I’m the person who is responsible for myself, means I have to deal with my illnesses in social situations. Of course, my close friends know how they can help me and even some of my Uni-tutors know, but I never expect them to circle around me and make sure I‘m okay. I‘m also a lesbian and I don’t want people to feel like they have to be super sensitive around me to not offend me. I can speak for myself if I feel uncomfortable with something. I have to protect myself and I have to deal with my problems. NOT OTHER PEOPLE. My life is just not their responsibility.

She is trying to manipulate the community when she tells this gay man straight people won't ever care about him. But she's actually wrong bc I, a straight person love LGBT people who are not insane and I would absolutely fight for them to have their rights. I will not be fighting for the insane people who demand victimization for themselves in the name of trans when they're not trans. 🙃

When there’s so many people coming and going, you ask the order, make the drink and get the payment. If you’re a regular like me, they know your usual and just ask with or without ice so I agree with you lol. Over here they call women “love”, I often wonder what American woke ladies would think of that haha 😂
