We need to bring back "Helping people with mental illness" instead of saying "Yes, I also see the purple flying elephant wearing a top hat, riding a bicycle up Mount Everest." Biology is real. Stop trying to rewrite reality. The sooner people acknowledge reality, the sooner they can move on, have a healthier mindset and be a productive member of society.

They're making it worse! I have never fought against maintaining my own mental health as I have recently. Don't look to the medical professionals. This is money for all of us. I'm a nurse and I hate what I'm seeing BUT my paychecks and that of my colleagues are nice. If I feel that way about my pockets, the ones who RUN the entire operation have all the money AND WANTS MORE! What better than to indulge the insane, force society to accept the insane as normal, and to indoctrinated the children from birth to claim abuse when parents tell them to wait until adulthood to transition. When have you ever known the pastic surgeon to have made the money in history as they do today? They are making millions performing sterilizations and genital mutilation.

THIIIIISSSS. This is why doctors need to know where you are in your transition so they can provide the best care possible. Not everyone who pursued gender transition does so the same way. Not every trans person has bottom surgery. Some trans guys experience uterine atrophy if they don’t get a hysterectomy. Doctors need to know this.

I'm 28, so when I was a teenager, everyone wanted to be emo, punk, or goth, I lived through the hysteria of people c*tting themselves, finding depression and su*cide as a way of living and dressing up all agains society's normal. To me, this trans movement is the new emo, but this is definitely more harmful because at least our parents and authorities were not telling us it was okay to be su*cidal and harm ourselves. When I heard that girl saying that she was trans because basically she felt euphoric that people validated her, she reminded me of myself when I was 13 or 14 and felt amazing when my parents found out I was emo and went all crazy, I felt amazing when teachers were concerned and I felt great because I got ATTENTION, because I was incredibly insecure, depressed, confused and I felt worthless, this was a cry for help and I'm so glad my Mom saw it as such and I received help I needed. The difference is that this generation won't leave their teenage years with a few scars, they will leave with a double mastectomy, life altering surgeries and a fked up body... it's really sad 😔

95% chance the therapist is just going to “affirm” him and tell him that that he’s been a victim of a horrible transphobic micro-aggression, and the solution is probably another irreversible medical procedure. That’s what’s really tragic. I’m a desister. I know just how mentally ill this community is. But as long as “affirmation therapy” remains the go-to, recommended method for dealing with trans issues, therapy is more likely to be actively harmful to a lot of these people than it is to be helpful. It’s completely tragic. Most therapists believe they’re doing the right thing, but we live in a society where almost everyone lives in an echo chamber and only sees the news/data that their side wants them to see.

I’m on the more liberal side of things usually. One issue I really want to touch on is the healthcare aspect. I work in healthcare. I love my job- I work as a medical laboratory technician. I rarely see the actual patients but we are the first people who usually end up with the pieces of what might be making you sick. I’ve been the first one to see a patient had leukemia or to confirm they’re in DKA. We run the blood tests, (and other fluids) to help your doctors and nurses know how to treat you and to diagnose you. We deal with numbers and ranges. The ranges for normal change based on age, sex, and sometimes even height and weight. So sometimes even for trans people this can make a difference in what looks normal in your blood work. Being trans also is still relevant in what might be issues of concern. Could you potentially be pregnant because you have a uterus? Or are we looking out for prostate cancer? To me I don’t care what a patient identifies as. But it is important to know the biology so the entire healthcare team can provide adequate care. Another thing is in the US the regulating body of CMS which usually requires demographics of sex, age, race, ethnicity, insurance, etc, now has updated that we include transgender and gender nonconforming (like transgender male to female, transgender female to male, etc). This slightly concerns me differently than just knowing in instances of importance is that if an employee has potential access to medical records and reason to look at it- this information at face value I worry could cause mistreatment in the current climate. Healthcare is the one place personal feelings don’t belong. Idc if you’re the meanest and most in your face trans person alive- you deserve help if you come in sick. End of story. And you deserve the same level of care as anyone else who comes in. So those are my kind of concerns. They’re on two different spectrums. Like yes we need that information and maybe having it could be bad because I still care about patient care and safety.

I… just… wanted to say thank you, so much. I’m both A) a reidentified (being in the sciences and not willing to accept “I am a male” when I am _biologically_ a female, that self-gaslighting was one bridge too far, so I never medically transitioned) detrans woman/female [for clarity’s sake], and B) born with some pretty awful congenital bone defects that were the root cause of my dysphoria (nerve issues.) Until a month ago, I have been fighting the medical community about my body and the acute chronic pain said defects cause. I’m in my 30s. I ID’d/was affirmed as trans underage to identify out of multi-year long SA + nerve problems. Denying biological reality is why I didn’t start hormones-having many “front facing” orthopedists say my bone malformations were fine and just needed to be in sports, made me not trust “I am a man because I say I’m one.” I _know_ my scans and other imaging is weird to look at, even though I have only met one or two techs who truly were allowed to look at my file. I have never met the people who actually took my blood work and the much more nuanced side of my body seriously. And that makes me sad. Because you being compassionate and worried about how this will all shake out is such a bright spot for someone used to a community of doctors who want money and to medicalize someone into the system for profit. I knew it couldn’t _only_ be the “old guard” who believed in “first, do no harm” but over the last 20 years it has felt that way. So, this is my very awkwardly long winded way of saying “thank you for the work you do” and your compassion and worries. You are appreciated because you deal in reality, both clearly in your mind and for your job. So, thank you. For your work and for your rationality.

I appreciate you pointing this out because my dad's a nurse and he's a sweet guy and good at his job. He has to ask those questions sometimes because it's potentially life threatening to the individual if he doesn't know. The anatomy is different it's not just bone structure I believe biological males have a different artery somewhere too he mentioned that biological females do not have. There's a bunch of things and he tries going about the questions as painless as possible but he needs to ask and they'll get rude and yell and call him names and are totally disrespectful when he's just trying to help them out. My dad is like sometimes the drug addicts are easier to handle. That's fucking crazy. I feel bad because he doesn't get appreciated often for his job and people out here are nasty when they need his help. Nurses are already worked to the bone and can have bad days and are humans too. I feel people don't consider that a lot especially selfish people like that because they're only focusing on one thing which is being offended.

That was my exact thought when he said it: it sounds like the Kweer/Queer have substituted gender for using -pick your substance-. Which I know from having existed as a bio-female [clarity’s sake, ffs] who is a tomboy and thus had more “LGBTQETC” acquaintances and/or friends that they were also using _something_ along with whatever prescribed meds + hormones they were on. Several bio-females “finished” transitioning and now are horribly depressed and in even worse mental health than the not-great-shape they started in by being blindly affirmed, because there is no “next step.” I socially ID’d as male when I was underage, when it was just starting to be a thing where you could buy “T” from other ftms who had it legitimately (mid 2000s) I never did only because “I’m a man and have the biology of a man because I say so” was in direct conflict with reality and I couldn’t get over it. I still went down a dark and deep rabbit hole, just my body was spared. And now, with detrans _actual_ friends (mostly ftm), they talk about how “there was nothing left to chase” when they hit the end of the line. When they’d gotten everything done. When they passed as men. When they ran smack into “well you’re a man now, go away” and the affirmation stopped, and the next goal no longer existed…. They compared (and I know they never used hard anything) “chasing the dragon.” How medical “professionals” can not see that if you have a disorder (not gender identity disorder, but… just depression, even) that should be treated instead of behaving as _dealers_ to get someone hooked is… utterly mind blowing to me. I know Marcus shares tidbits about his medical experience. Especially after YT went after him. But I don’t think it (currently) would be safe/a good idea for him to make a video on such things on _his_ channel. (Maybe an interview or somewhere else, like Buck or Blaire.) I remember a month or so back, maybe three, where he said he didn’t want to be sharing this, he just wanted to be a normal guy, but it has gotten so bad and so insane that he feels he must. And I truly do applaud that. It takes guts to take on very powerful people and state the truth of the matter when your income relies on their “good grace.”

And no I cannot take pain medication as I have a gene that would make me an addict so I have to save any pain medication I get for major injuries or surgeries.

The day I started my period, I didn’t want to be a girl anymore. I started at 10, and that day forward “hated” being a girl. Always used to say I wanted to be a boy so bad because they didn’t get pregnant or have periods. Thank god my parents never just allowed me to “be a boy” just because I said I wanted to be one due to the experiences of being a girl. Because now I am 26, with two beautiful children, and now THANKFUL for every period I get because that means I’m not pregnant 😂 I’m happy with my two 💯😂 but beyond that, I’m just happy to be me, and to be a woman.

“Do I fucking look female?!” It says here on your chart that you’ve been pregnant, so yes, you do. Getting pregnant is something only females can do. If you choose to do it, it is going to override absolutely everything else and make you look female. I’d say that these “pregnant men” need to realize that, but let’s be real: A lot of them DO realize that. The whole point is that it gives them more situations where they get to play the victim because people aren’t lying to them to cater to their delusions. Live your life however you want. If I saw this man, I’d probably recognize him as a trans man and gender him as such. That said, men like him need to realize when it’s their own choices making it harder for them to participate in society. You are not the main character. It is not the job of everyone around you to understand the choices you have made that make you dramatically different than 99% of the population. And yes, if you choose to have a series of surgeries that dramatically change how your body functions at a basic level, you may need to do the extra work of finding a doctor that specializes in treating people like you. (Or just find a transgender doctor. They exist. I had a transgender family doctor growing up in a small town in the 2000s. You can definitely find on in the 2020s.)

The legislation / policy to solve all this, seems a bit straightforward to me, in my opinion. It should be illegal for a child to receive any trans gender medication or surgery prior to 18 years of age. Expressing oneself as female, though cloths, hairstyle, etc, as a child is up to the child and how one chooses to express oneself, and laws against that are against the Constitution's free speech / expression protection. Before or after 18, extensive psychotherapy is required as agreed upon by a medical association, for example if they find that at least a year of psychotherapy is required to minimize the risk of regret, and/or misdiagnosis, then it should be a year. Then after a psychiatrist signs off on the surgery it can proceed, after 18 years of age. Transgender medication / surgery is a serious, irreversible health situation that must be taken very seriously and efforts to make sure it's not a mistake or misdiagnosis is the most humane thing we can do. If your argument is that a trans child may kill himself, then you are admitting a serious mental health issue that must be addressed through psychiatric assistance to determine the health issue. Under no circumstances should a child be receiving chemical / surgical procedures that are permanent. For that matter, I also think baby boys shouldn't be mutilated at birth either with circumcision.
@linusgustafsson2629
@linusgustafsson2629 Жыл бұрын
In my opinon the best strategy would be that all doctors must have sex with their patients first, to show them what kind of experience they are going to give up by transitioning. And if the doctors don't want to have sex with children, or the parents don't want doctors to have sex with their children, then they'd have to simply not transition their children. And if the doctors and parents are fine with sex with children, then we already know there is no stopping these people from transitioning since they are extreme. The backup system would simply be 30 years in jail for all involved parties if someone de-transitions. That way they will only perform surgery on people guaranteed to not change their minds. Issue with this solution is just that trans people wouldn't de-transition because they'd be putting their parents in jail. So they'd suffer even more, due to their parents, than without this punishment of 30 years in jail.

You know why none of makes sense. Because it’s supposed to make no sense. This is all attention seeking. None of it is real, they do it solely for the reason to get attention even they can’t explain it or make it make sense to others. I am sure there are real people who truly feel they are not in the correct body but those people want to acclimate and would prefer that they just integrate into society like anyone else. These people just attention seek and want it to be confusing. The majority of them are not attractive and if it wasn’t for the weirdness they would be completely shunned in society. I mean why would u work on being the best version of yourself. Eat healthy, work out and find a passion that you love and put all of yourself into that passion. When instead you can eat whatever you want and blame society, not work and not doing any of the necessary work and mental health to get positive real results. It’s much easier to just tell everyone else they are the problem and take zero accountability.

I feel like a lot of uncomfortable or unhappy people see the trans trend and attach themselves to it, putting the insecurity all on that being the reason. Then trying to solve it by taking control, which is natural, except now in society, it’s perfectly fine and allowed for kids to experiment in horrible ways with no long-term views. At least in the past, the horrible ways people messed with themselves in society were at least illegal, or legal after 21. Now it’s all take our chemicals and our surgical knives and do whatever you want to your body inside and out whenever you want.
