@Brandon Taylor the reason guys like chapman throw at players is because no one can throw at them. i don't care if chapman can't hit, i would want his ass at bat so that there is equal retribution. this guy throws a hundred mile an hour fastball at swisher and there is no punishment. tony conigliaro of the boston red sox had his career ended by one of these idiots. chapman is a closer so he never picks up a bat and if anyone deserves to have a pitch thrown at him it's him.

That second pitch was very, VERY dangerous. But, like I said, those are the "unspoken rules" of the game. If he hit Swisher, would he have killed him, no. Chapman has a cannon attached to his neck. That was very juvenile of him to throw at Swisher on the second pitch. The third and forth pitch proved his point.

I'm not a fan of either team so having said that I don't think he was trying to hit him because you don't want to ever bring the tying (in this case) or winning run to the plate. Also pitchers can't EVER throw inside anymore without someone getting pissy. The strike zone is almost un-hittable Angie because it's so small. ALTHOUGH you can't throw inside at someone's head ever.
