@@HelloIranTV I own a resort in Thailand so I meet people from all around the world all the time. I've never met a Persian who wasn't friendly and polite. I've also met many people who have travelled to 100+ countries and I always like to ask them where they met the nicest people. The answer is usually Iran.

Taarof is like when Americans say "How are you?" but they don't REALLY want to know how you are. It's social lubricant, greasing the wheels of human exchange. I LOVE Iran, someday want to visit. Thank you for your lovely videos.

thanks for clarification of Taarof.

No problem. I like Taarof best. It is the ticket to a free ride. I would certainly accept Taarof in its direct meaning. Example''''' Taxi man says, "Keep the money, you are welcome".... my response, " That is fantastic, you are welcome, thanks for the free ride."

I enjoyed the little insights into visiting Iran. I think that the western world as a whole could benefit from having more visibility into daily life there. I am Canadian, and even here, there are so many preconceived notions about other countries and cultures, most of which are totally unjustified. I will gladly share these kinds of videos with close family and friends and do my part to turn ignorance around.

Love your videos, keep up the good work. 1:42 As an Iranian, most of us are bad drivers. In fact, we are horrible. Not respecting any traffic laws is the definition of a bad driver. Driving rules and regulation of Iran is mostly similar to other countries. I still drive in Iran whenever I'm visiting and even thou that I didn't get my first driver license in Iran but whenever I'm driving there I forget all the rules and drive like any other Iranian.

In 2018 I travelled 4.000 kms through Iran with my own car and have been warned: Tehran is worst, don't even think about driving in the capital. Of course I ignored this friendly advice and happily admit, it is a unique experience, hahaha. However, after a couple of days on the road you get accustomed to it. The secret of surviving iranian traffic is "go with the flow". Just relax and blend in. Warm greetings to the beautiful Iranian people. I will return in 2022. How? By car, of course.

What they say literally means "It is on the house" or "Be my guest" but you should also be kind and pay them. Why wouldn't we, considering food and everything is a lot cheaper there. I cried at a gas station when I saw fuel is 17 times cheaper in Iran compared to Turkey.
