Your video gave a good suggestion. Our MYP was delivered to the delivery center today, for a Saturday pick up. Out of the 6 MYPs that were on the truck with ours, OUR car was the ONLY one that had the Pirelli’s and it kind of pissed us off. Aggravated that because of random chance, if we want the car, we’re going to have to drop a few grand more just for acceptable winter tires.

My 2022 MYP came with Michelin pilot sport as4 P255/35R21 and P275/35R21 (front and rear). The stretched out tires exposes the rims to get scratched so easily. I consider this a design fault. So I plan to do the same mod but only need to buy the rear tires 295/35/21 and I will move the rear tires to the front. I like that the front tires will have the inner foam so I expect a quiet/softer ride, better protection for my rims, and a much better look. Just wanted to share this here, to point out that if you got the Michelin tires, you only need to buy the rear tires (2 not 4 tires). Thanks for sharing your idea Tommy. There was just a Reddit post retweeted by Sawyer Merrit about the 2022 MYP coming standard with these Michelin All Seasons! I hope it’s true, even though I live in Texas but will travel to northern states during the winter. So excited for my Tesla! 😎 Have a MYLR as well on order for my mom living in Wisconsin, so I’m hoping they do the same with the 20” Induction rims…would be dope!

What do you think about replace 21" for 20" with all season tires? Tesla says tires should be 255/40R20 but Michelin Crossclimate doesn't have this size. Any issue if we use 255/45R20?

However you said twice in the video that the specs are 275/35 R21 you mentioned that at 5:27 and 5:39. What are your specs and how does the car ride at high speeds with this set up? Nice video Tom 👍 I did the same on my performance model & went with Michelin as well. I agree, there’s really no difference with noise without the foam. The only downfall with having staggered set up, you can’t rotate them around. Also, they have to have the proper foot pounds of torque 129 lb. ft.. Tesla won’t do that stock size because of range. I lose at least 10-15% easily! 🤦🏻♂️. However, I love the look. Drive safe ⚡️😎
