I have owned boats and have never had any trouble docking them. I was usually drunk when I was boating, and I still never hit anything or anybody.

Enjoy your show. I get a kick out of the temp. complaints. I am here in Yuma, AZ and we hit 116 yesterday, but the humidty was only 22 percent. Thank the Lord for A.C.

Just thank God it's not snowing, can you imagine shoveling snow in that heat. Was 113 here in Arizona City, Az.

So after 20 years in Hawaii, we finally bought the Zodiac boat of our dreams for these waters. You can see the build on a particular Oregon boat sales website. It’s pretty amazing. But it didn’t take us long to figure out just how much more work trailering it, cleaning it, putting it back in storage etc it is than when we lived on a lake with a boat and our own boat dock. It’s a lot. Now we hardly ever take it out for just the day. We boat camp and it’s super fun. Gives us two days on the water without having twice the work. That’s how we do it. Wish it were in a slip so we could just go right out.

Yep that is absolutely true about Bimini! A friend of mine‘s father writes the guide to underwater Florida as well as ref fish identification and other books and had a house on Bimini. Stayed with them before as well as at the Rockefeller House with a another friend of mine’s father’s company was developed in the island. Beautiful! We would go over there the police would come by just to check on us to see how everybody’s doing and they pull up with an Uzi in their lap always. The runners have their boats up by the house, of course everyone there lives on the water, with no registration on the vote since you don’t need it when it’s on land. Crates and crates of Yamaha engines all in the front yard and at night you can hear them run!

😂my dad smoked cigarettes when we were kids our clothes smelt like smoke all the time it stunk so bad haha not only that but when we would go on road trips his window cracked 2 inches while smoking a pack… we were raised in much different times Alfred! Great video just talking chit brother! Keep them coming!

Yep. Tobacco was one of the first industries in the US. It creates a lot of revenue and taxes. Very important. I smoked for 40 years, and they were less than 50 cents for a pack when I started.

Nobody is taking my generator. I keep it stored with 6 gallons of fresh fuel. I learned my lesson a year ago when the power went out and I used the generator to run my fridge, some lights and the TV for Sunday football games.

Alfred, woo hoo! I went to Milam Elementary as well. Probably earlier than you. It was when Hialeah was only 70% Cuban :) The only teacher names I remember are Ms. Silas (3rd grade) and Mr. Leff (4th Grade.) I remember going to Westland Mall and Farrell's, Dino's Pizza on 103rd showing 3 stooges, and being on the champion Palm Springs Spiders soccer team! About the generator bans, you might want to learn some more about it. This was started in 2006, under GW Bush. It was to study if generators kill people. In CA, where I live now, in 2028 you can no longer buy gasoline generators. You can buy diesel or propane generators. As a native Floridian, I understand the need for a generator because FPL focuses on hospitals and grocery stores after a hurricane. But if you can get a diesel or propane generator, then what is the issue? CA started with bans on small gas engines. It was for health and noise. CA is unlike Florida's geography; there are many elevation changes and you get valley effects. So someone 16 houses away using a gas chain saw or leaf blower you will hear. Now with battery-operated ones, it is not an issue. CA bans the sale of gas generators in 2028, but not the usage.

It was a lot safer back when you were a kid that you kids could go fishing at night by yourself. Nowadays it's too dangerous. It's good you have the memories of fishing with your bro back then. Enjoy your stories along with boat ramp scenes. Enjoy ! 👍😊
@reneap904911 ай бұрын
Why do you see so many cabin cruisers putting in & taking out. That’s a lot with a boat that size every time you want to go for a ride. We slipped ours, only trailered it if it needed to go to the shop or get new bottom paint. Tennessee River.

I saw the video regarding the smugglers. I think the man who allowed them to follow him from Bimini should have notified coast guard way before ever reaching Miami. The smugglers boat had no numbers and should’ve been a clue from the outset.

Alfred, everything in life is political! Politicians create the laws which once passed are turned over to bureaucrats to interpret and enact. The location of roads, placement of stop signs is somewhat straightforward but still subject to political influences for access to the money and/or control of favorable locations. WELL ITS POLITICIANS WITH MAJORITY POWER WHO ARE ATTEMPTING TO TAKE AWAY OUR GENERATORS! AND WE ALWAYS FIND THAT THE POLITICIANS MAKE LAWS THAT TAKE OUR FREEDOMS, OUR MONEY BUT THEY EXCLUDE THEMSELVES SO THEY CAN CONTROL US WHILE LIVING THE GOOD LIFE! IF YOU WANT TO AFFECT THINGS SUCH AS GETTING AND KEEPING A GENERATOR THEN YOU NEED TO VOTE FOR OR AGAINST THE POLITICIANS WHO ARE TRYING TO TAKE AWAY OUR GENERATORS!

I’m a 1960 model. Worked outside my entire life. Please stop with how hot it is. It has always been hot in the Summer. We have just been spoiled by easier living along with air conditioning. In the day there was no “heat index” it was just what it was with or without high humidity.
